IU’s latest single, “Love Wins All,” has a guest appearance from V of BTS in the accompanying music video.
The video for “Love Wins All” features IU and V in the roles of survivors from a post-apocalyptic world where peculiar flying cubes prey on humanity. In a deserted shopping center, the pair quickly finds safety and discovers a vintage camera that can transport them to a time when the invasion never happened.
The happy couple plans a day of getting away from it all—a romantic meal, wedding photos, and a celebration. Unfortunately, their illusion is shattered not long after when they are discovered by one of the cubes, who captures their last moments together on camera.

In her new song, IU sings, “Two of us, side by side, gone astray on purpose / Crush me in your arms / Give me a lovelier kiss, lover / Our love wins all, love wins all.” I believe she means it.

The song was renamed from “Love Wins” to “Love Wins All” after IU received criticism for what some saw as “queerbaiting” in the original title. The retitling was revealed by EDAM Entertainment, who mentioned that they wanted to “respect and support everyone who loves in their various ways” in their statement.
On the other hand, IU hasn’t published a solo album since 2021’s ‘Pieces,’ a mini-album that had several unreleased tracks. She also released her fifth studio album, ‘Lilac,’ that year. In the first half of 2024, the singer is anticipated to release new music.
