While talking about the Love Wins All music video and V’s military enrollment on February 17, South Korean female singer IU made a reference to BTS’s Kim Taehyung on Yoo Jae-seok’s chat show Pinggyego.
Yoo Jae-Seok, a famous comedian and host from South Korea, hosts the discussion program Pinggyego, which is renamed Just an Excuse. You may see IU’s appearance on the most recent episode (the 38th) of the discussion show on the Ddeun Ddeun YouTube account.
The show’s hosts expressed their nostalgia for a time when they worked with Kim Taehyung and their sadness that he enlisted for his mandatory military service during the episode.
Furthermore, they conveyed their appreciation for the idol’s national duty. Fans couldn’t stop raving about a scene from the program, so it quickly went viral on social media. The South Koreans adore BTS’ V, according to one Twitter user who wrote:

The Audience Goes Wild When the Hosts Gush over Kim Taehyung
Love Wins All, IU’s pre-release song starring Kim Taehyung, was released on January 24, 2024. Netizens ascribed made-up names to the two actors’ characters in the music video, which boosted the pair’s popularity. Taejoon was used to describe V, and Jihye was used to describe IU.
As a fan of the fictional Jihye and Taejoon, as well as a former collaborator with BTS’s Kim Taehyung, the hosts of Pinggyego revealed this during the show. The hosts are saddened by the awful ending they encountered in the music video, which pertains to their imaginary characters.
During their conversation, hosts Yoo Jae-seok and Yang Se-chan expressed their longing for BTS member Kim Taehyung, who is now serving in the military. They went on to talk about their past collaboration with the idol since Yang Se-chan had hosted fan meetups for both IU and V.

They went on to say that they are pleased that the idol is doing his job well and that they are sending positive thoughts and encouragement to the idol and his fellow warriors, who have made their lives easier.
The show’s clip quickly went viral on social media, and viewers couldn’t get enough of V’s adoration from the entertainment business despite his military service.
