As a result, he now has more than 64 million followers, breaking the record for the quickest Korean performer to reach that milestone. Additionally, no other artist in the world has 117 Instagram posts that have received more than 10 million likes as Kim Taehyung has. V broke records for the quickest accounts to reach numerous follower milestones upon debuting his account (@thv), including 1 million, 10 million, 20 million, 30 million, 40 million, 50 million, and now 64 million.
The impact that V has had on media publications like Korea Dispatch demonstrates that his power on Instagram goes beyond simple stats. In 2023, Dispatch published a photo of V at the airport that became the only person to get over 1 million likes on several occasions; V is a member of BTS.
In addition, in November 2022, V’s Instagram profile was the only one from Korea to make it into the top ten most popular accounts on the social media analytics platform HypeAuditor.
