Dating allegations swirled around actor Gong Myung and Weki Meki member Kim Doyeon, but they both refuted the accusations and put the incident down to a misunderstanding. A news source broke the news that Gong Myung and Doyeon were dating first thing on the 26th.
The two reportedly became closer after Doyeon’s 2019 guest appearance in the JTBC drama “Be Melodramatic,” in which Gong Myung had a significant role, solidifying their connection that had begun during their rookie days under the same agency.
Another clue about the development of their connection was the fact that Doyeon had just left the Weki Meki dorm.
Nevertheless, not long after, Saram Entertainment, Gong Myung’s agency, informed OSEN, “The dating rumors with Weki Meki’s Doyeon are not true.” They went on to add that “the two were merely seniors and juniors from the same agency.”
They (Doyeon’s side) also said the same thing. The dating rumors concerning Kim Doyeon, an artist with Weki Meki. “The article’s claims are unfounded; they were just close colleagues at the same agency,” they went on to say.
