“Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa” is a charming Spanish song that, for some reason, is commonly linked with cats. Someone must be living on another “platen” if they are unaware of it. Adorable videos of cats “vibing” to the infectious beats of “Chipi Chipi Chapa Chapa” have been posted nonstop on Instagram for the past several months.
When a video showing the South Korean superstars V, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Jhope, and RM dancing to the same song appeared online, the BTS ARMY’s admiration for the song hit a whole new level. For reasons that should be readily apparent, the aforementioned video of the BTS idols dancing to “Chipi Chapa” was too adorable to bear.
Officially known as “Dubidubidu,” the Spanish ballad “Chipi Chapa” goes by more than just that. The song became viral on Instagram and other platforms featuring altered cats dancing to it for some strange and endearing reason.
A user going by the handle “Anto_armyjm” posted the footage to Instagram. “Chippy Chippie Chapa Chapa X Run BTS.” was the caption of the post.
