Surprising fans, V of BTS has announced that his new single “FRI(END)S” would be released on March 15. V has built up anticipation for the new song’s debut by providing fans with a sneak peek through two teaser videos, one short film, and numerous concept photographs.

Just a few days ago, they dropped the first teaser, which featured a new song sample at the very end. Despite the announcement of the digital single on March 3, it appears that V somewhat gave fans a hint about the song’s release months ago while filming for the spin-off variety program, Jinny’s Kitchen: Team Building.
V, one of the interns, and Choi Woo Shik, one of the actors, were in a car together in the first episode of Jinny’s Kitchen, which premiered on November 12, 2023.

As they were riding in the car, curious internet users saw that V had been playing Choi Woo Shik his unreleased single “FRI(END)S” for months prior to its announcement.
