The YG Entertainment rookie female trio BABYMONSTER is more than simply a “video star” in the digital realm. They broke their secluded code and returned to the public eye, proclaiming their return. Fittingly given the ‘ monster rookie’ label, they made a massive impact despite only ever competing with music videos before.
‘Summer Sonic,’ a prominent Japanese music event, is home to their first confirmed stage, which is particularly impressive.
The fact that BABYMONSTER announced their arrival so early in the summer, despite the fact that the festival is in the winter, shows that they are determined to assert their external activities presence through the ‘weight’ of Summer Sonic.

Just in preparation for their April album release, YG Entertainment (YG) shared a photo over the weekend that showcases all seven members of BABYMONSTER—including Ahyeon—together for the first time since their formal debut last year. This shot is part of their comeback program. The picture went viral on social media, evoking intense reactions and hinting at the worldwide fandom’s eagerness for the group’s full comeback.
At exactly twelve minutes after the top of the hour on April 1, BabyMonster will release their debut CD. By swapping out the letter “T” for a number seven, the album title “BABYMONS7ER” changes the English name of BabyMonster and highlights the full group activity involving all seven members.
In the four months following their official debut at the end of last year, BabyMonster released two singles, “Batter Up” and “Stuck in the Middle,” further solidifying their position as a preeminent fifth-generation female group.

During this time, they have maintained their mystique and drew interest by staying out of the public eye, releasing only music videos and other relevant content. With over 100 million and 200 million views on YouTube, respectively, their music videos for “Stuck in the Middle” and “Batter Up” have become extremely popular.
Additionally, you can also immerse yourself in the enchanting realm of BABYMONSTER as ‘Stuck In The Middle’ thrusts Rora and Pharita into the spotlight.
With members hailing from Korea, Japan, and Thailand, BABYMONSTER continues YG’s 7-year cycle of girl groups, which began with 2NE1 and ended with BLACKPINK. For more updates, you can join us on our Twitter account.
