The official website for the two-part anime film based on Inio Asano’s Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction manga announced a delay for the second film.
Originally set for April 19, 2024, it’s now pushed to May 24, 2024, to ensure top-notch quality. Alongside this news, a new visual for the second film was revealed.

Meet the Talented Team Behind the Anime Adaptation
Lilas Ikuta, also known as “ikura,” lends her voice to the main character Kadode Koyama, while ano voices another main character, Ouran “Ontan” Nakagawa.
The anime is produced by Production +h., marking the first full-fledged anime adaptation of Asano’s work.
Tomoyuki Kurokawa directs the films, with Reiko Yoshida overseeing the series scripts.
Nobutake Ito serves as the character designer and chief animation director, while Mika Nishimura takes charge as the art director. Taro Umebayashi handles the music composition.
