Co-stars Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun of “Yumi’s Cells” will be reunited for a new drama! SBS confirmed the lead roles of Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun in their forthcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Chaebol x Detective” on November 15. The drama is set to broadcast in January 2024.
The drama “Chaebol x Detective” follows the development and love story of a spoiled third-generation chaebol’s transformation into a police officer. Kim Ba Da, writer of “My Name,” and Kim Jae Hong, director of “Steal Heart” and “My Love, Eun Dong,” respectively, will pen and direct the drama.
Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, is a third-generation chaebol who uses his brilliance, athletic prowess, and vast resources at his disposal thanks to his family’s money and connections to track down criminals.
Lee Naeun has successfully landed a role in the upcoming drama ‘Chaebol x Detective,’ and is thus poised to make a victorious return to the small screen. On November 16th, Namoo Actors verified the news, heralding Lee Naeun’s return after a three-year absence.

Actress Park Ji Hyun will play Lee Kang Hyun, the force’s first female team head and a seasoned detective with a police academy degree. Lee Kang Hyun is a hard worker with a high sense of duty and professional pride; she is also exceptionally passionate, has excellent investigative and social abilities, and can quickly adapt to new situations. But her life as a detective takes a dramatic turn when she unexpectedly teams up with Jin Yi Soo. In January of 2024, the first episode of “Chaebol x Detective” will air.

What Will Be Chaebol x Detective Plot?
Third-generation chaebol family member Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun). He acts like a kid at heart and enjoys playing around. Jin Yi-Soo joins the police force and works on a violent crimes unit as a detective. He employs his immense fortune, personal connections, and formidable wit in an effort to eradicate criminals from the face of the earth.
He assists the team’s leader, Lee Gang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun). She is a veteran investigator and fiercely dedicated to finding crooks. She’s also really good with people. Despite Lee Gang-Hyun’s initial dislike for Jin Yi-Soo, the two eventually have an effective working relationship. Her deceitful existence undergoes a dramatic shift.
