Fresh “Chicken Nugget” visuals are now available on Netflix!
A new humorous mystery series called “Chicken Nugget” stars Ryu Seung Ryong as Choi Sun Man, a father who is determined to retrieve his daughter Min Ah, played by Kim Yoo Jung, after she was transformed into a chicken nugget by an enigmatic machine.
Jung Ho Yeon plays Korea’s top food columnist Hong Cha, while Ahn Jae Hong plays Min Ah’s crush and intern Ko Baek Joong.
In his role as Choi Sun Man, a man who takes great care to protect what he believes to be his daughter, Ryu Seung Ryong revealed, “Although my daughter turned into a chicken nugget, I immersed myself [into thinking] that the chicken nugget is my daughter in order to put in effort to not act fake.
“When I’m performing comedic roles, I try to push the boundaries of what’s possible and challenge stereotypes; I believe that was successfully applied to this project,” he concluded.
“It was to the extent that I wondered if [Ko Baek Joong] was drawn with me in mind,” Ahn Jae Hong, who plays the role of Ko Baek Joong, said of his character. Our brows are very similar, too. It seems predetermined.

In ‘Melo Is My Nature,’ Ahn Jae Hong got his hairdo, clothes, and energetic dancing moves from choreographer Aiki and his singing and guitar skills from music director Park Sang Woo.
According to Ryu Seung Ryong, their chemistry was so strong that they “moved like a single organism” during rehearsals, even though they didn’t examine every detail individually beforehand. “It was as if I were competing in a table tennis tournament as a doubles team with the most renowned senior actor,” Ahn Jae Hong said.
The two performers also demonstrated a high level of confidence in “Extreme Job” and “Melo Is My Nature” director Lee Byung Heon. Director Lee Byung Heon possesses sincerity cloaked in goofiness and vice versa, as Ryu Seung Ryong put it. He has a special way of bringing people together via genuine, heartfelt laughing. Looking into his eyes now makes me feel like I understand how he feels.

“Even without exchanging many words, we get along well,” Ahn Jae Hong continued. Only Lee Byung Heon, the filmmaker, could have created this cosmos, in my opinion. It seems like he found a whole new sense of humor all over again.
