Ahyeon had to sit out BABYMONSTER’s debut single “Batter Up” because of health problems, in case you didn’t hear. “Ahyeon has fully recovered her health,” Hyun-suk announced, with the implication that Ahyeon is now back at YG. She’s in the middle of recording sessions for her next album.
Yang Hyun-suk went on to say that BABYMONSTER will re-record Batter Up and Stuck in the Middle with all seven members, even though Ahyeon won’t be on either song.
The news broke that Ahyeon would be departing BABYMONSTER on November 15th. A source from YG Entertainment has stated that the rumors of Ahyeon’s sudden departure are accurate.
A day later, though, the label changed its mind, revealing that Ahyeon would still be performing with BABYMONSTER but would have to sit out their debut owing to health problems. “For health reasons, we will devote her some time to rest and make our BABYMONSTER debut as a six-member member,” they informed us.
But now Ahyeon health is better and she will officially join the group activities. For more updates, you can join us on our Twitter account.
