Alchemy of Souls Season 2 Episode 9 Plot

In episode 8 of season 2 of Alchemy of Souls, Bu-yeon discovers she is Naksu and meets the real Jin Bu-yeon, who informs her that she will soon vanish. Her decision to avoid Jang Uk results from everything that has happened. In the meantime, Jang Uk departs for the North fortress when Go Won requests that he do so if he has no desire to contend for the crown.

But because of Naksu’s actions, he is left speechless and saddened, so he chooses to wait this time. Later, when Jin Mu is prepared to carry out his plan, he starts seizing Jinyowon under the guise that nobody is qualified to protect it. When Naksu informs him that she is the Jinyowon heir, Jin Mu uses the occasion to put her to the test and subject her to a trial to demonstrate the strength of her heavenly abilities.

A ghost attacks Naksu after being sent to the location where wraiths are kept, but Jang Uk arrives and saves her in time. But as soon as he notices the blue soul shifter mark in her eyes, he asks her about who she is.

Alchemy of Souls Season 2 Recap

Alchemy of Souls season 2, episode 7 kicked off with Jang-UK arriving like a beast and prepared to lay some Cheonbugwan smackdown. Holding Yeom-us up by the throat, he quickly dispatches the soldiers while learning about the blood parasite. When Jin-mu learns of what is happening, he is shocked. The situation is also known to Songrim, and Park-jin realizes that Uk has effectively saved Yul and brought him to Sejukwon.

According to Physician Heo, Yul’s life is in great danger, and there is no way to free the blood parasite that appears to be trapped inside him without also killing him. The problem is that, should Yul pass away, the repercussions go far beyond what is currently happening.

In a desperate attempt to exact retribution, General Seo, Yul’s father, will march and arrive in the capital if Yul’s lantern goes out. The Kingdoms might engage in combat. Songrim is willing to assist Jang-cause UK despite his rage. Park-jin, meanwhile, will travel to Cheonbugwan by himself. Already aware of what is taking place, Jin-mu tries to join the Unanimous Assembly to add his voice to the discussion.

As soon as he arrives, Jang-UK sends guards flying left and right and moves deep inside Cheonbugwan. This guy is an unstoppable Gary Stu (the ideal protagonist with no defects), and it appears impossible to stop him. The Crown Prince appears and tries to stop Jang-UK because he does not want all of his hard work to be for naught.

He even moves before him to shield Jang-UK from a hail of arrows, demonstrating his true allegiance. It’s not with Cheonbugwan, and despite their differences, Jang-UK offers the Prince a second chance by asking him to bring Jin-mu to him. Naturally, the Prince goes to see Jin-mu and encourages him to remain, saying that Jang-UK is in no position to back down.

Our protagonist instructs Park-jin to return and take care of Yul as he deals with this while he waits outside. The Unanimous Assembly agrees that Jinyowon is the only person who can assist Jin-mu when he calls for their assistance. He arrives with the rest of the gang and begs for forgiveness from Ho-gyeong while bowing in prayer.

Jin-mu apologizes for Yul’s problems and persuades Ho-gyeong to join him (or suffer sharing the pair their downfalls together). She had been reluctant to help, but Jin-wily mu’s methods changed her mind. With a potential cure in sight and Yul’s life in jeopardy, Jang-UK departs, announcing that Jin-mu will perish if Yul survives.

Ho-gyeong has a condition, though. She will offer assistance in exchange for Bu0yeon being returned to her. Park-jin also assigns this verbal agreement because he is a witness at that location. The Prince and Jang-UK will enter Jinyowon together and fight the firebird, using its energy to exterminate the blood parasite ultimately.

This firebird is the key. But first, he delivers the awful news to Bu-yeon. She accepts but acknowledges that she is acting for Yul rather than Jang-UK.
