Apple is teaming up with Google to make iPhones smarter with advanced AI features.
They’re looking to bring in Google’s powerful AI technology called Gemini to enhance what iPhones can do.
But they’re still figuring out the details of how exactly this partnership will work.
Gemini: Supercharging iPhone AI
Apple is talking with Google to bring Gemini into iPhones. Gemini is a super smart AI that can do cool things like generating new content.
While Apple has been working on its own AI called ‘Ajax,’ it’s mainly for stuff you do on your phone, not the big tasks like creating images from text. That’s where Gemini could come in handy.

Why Partner with Google?
Apple knows its AI isn’t as advanced as Google’s or OpenAI’s yet. So teaming up with Google could help them bring more powerful AI features to iPhones.
This isn’t the first time Apple and Google have worked together. They already have a deal to keep Google as the main search engine on iPhones.
What’s Coming Next?
We’ll probably hear more about this partnership in June at WWDC 2024. That’s when Apple usually talks about new software updates.
iOS 18 is expected to bring some cool AI features, like making summaries and suggestions in apps like Pages and Keynote.
Even Apple Music will get smarter with better playlists. And Siri? She’s getting a major AI upgrade too.

Google’s Gemini: What You Need to Know?
Google launched Gemini (previously called Bard) earlier this year for Android users.
It’s like having a smart chatbot that can help you with all sorts of things, from finding videos to answering questions.
iPhone users can’t get the Gemini app yet, but they can still use it through the Google app.
