An Armed-Robber kills a man and critically wounds a man. He escapes the scene with their car.
On a Tuesday evening at approximately 9:00 PM, an armed robbery leaves a man dead and a woman critically injured. It occurred outside a Party City Store by Interstate 30 and Cockrell Hill Road. According to the reports of Dallas Morning News, several suspects were said to have fled the scene.
Both victims were in life-threatening conditions when found. The police had been dispatched from 4400 Cockrell Fort Worth Turnpike. When they arrived, they took the victims to immediate medical care. Both victims were subjected to multiple bullet wounds, leaving them in precarious condition.
The police rushed them to the hospital though unfortunately, only one of the two victims had tolerated their wounds long enough for proper medical care. The 19-year-old Juan Carlos Sierra-Garcia Jr. soon died from his wounds. In contrast, the woman’s condition is not fully disclosed though presumably alive, until said otherwise. Her identity is said to be unknown to the police.
The victim’s vehicle had been hijacked, presumably by the perpetrators. The car remains at large and so do the criminals, as per the report of WFAA. It is assumed that both the woman and Sierra-Garcia were together as their vehicle had been stolen by the same person/people.
It was mentioned that many suspects had fled the crime scene though most were likely bystanders running from the gunshots.
