Bad Boys 4 Release Date: Is This Film Coming In 2023?

Bad Boys 4 will undoubtedly take place. The return of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as detectives Mike Lowrey and Miles Burnett in the fourth film in the action film series has been the subject of speculations and reports in recent years.

It was rumored that the movie might be shelved due to Smith’s infamous Oscar’s slap scandal that occurred last year, but more recent speculations have suggested that the sequel was still on track. Officially, Smith and Lawrence have formally announced the sequel.

Smith initially kept his plans a secret, posting a video of himself on Instagram while traveling to reveal a surprise for his followers. Lawrence answers the door when he approaches a house and welcomes him inside. The two actors embrace joyfully as they declare to the camera that Bad Boys 4 is undoubtedly taking place. However, they are beginning to wish they had saved the moniker Bad Boys for Life for this new episode.

Bad Boys 4 Release Date

It’s official: Bad Boys 4 is on the way. In recent years, there have been speculations and claims of a fourth chapter of the action film series, reuniting Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for another adventure as detectives Mike Lowrey and Miles Burnett.

Following Smith’s infamous Oscar’s slap scandal last year, it was rumored that the film might be canceled, but more recent speculations revealed that the sequel was still on track. The sequel has now been declared official by Smith and Lawrence themselves.

Smith released a video of himself on his way to deliver a surprise for his followers on Instagram without first revealing what he was up to. He arrives across a house, and Lawrence meets him at the front door.  The two actors embrace eagerly as they address the camera that Bad Boys 4 is unquestionably occurring, albeit they’re beginning to wish they’d saved the Bad Boys for Life moniker for this next installment.

In the video, the pair joked that they should have called the film Bad Boys 4 Life, but the third installment had already used that title. The title of the fourth film is presently unclear.

It is unknown when Bad Boys 4 will be released. However, given that filming has yet to begin, the earliest we may see it in theaters would be late 2024 or early 2025. We will keep this page updated when new information becomes available.

Bad Boys 4 Cast 

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, who will reprise their roles as Detective Lieutenant Mike Lowrey and Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett, are the two stars we know will return for the following picture.

Joe Pantoliano as Captain Conrad Howard, Theresa Randle as Theresa Burnett, Bianca Bethune as Megan Burnett, Paola Nez as Lieutenant Rita Secada, and Jacob Scipio as Armando Lowrey may all return; however, this has yet to be confirmed. The sequel will be directed by the directors of the canceled film Batgirl, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also directed the third picture.
