Treasure Will Perform ‘Here I Stand’ on the Japanese OST for the Animated Film ‘Black Clover The Movie: The Wizard King’s Sword’

‘Black Clover The Movie: The Wizard King’s Sword’: The Japanese anime series Black Clover will get more voice work from TREASURE. This is TREASURE’s second time working on a ‘Black Clover project; in 2021, they sang the ending OST “Beautiful,” and now they’ll be doing the OST “Here I Stand” for ‘Black Clover The Movie: The Wizard King’s Sword.

The genre of “Here I Stand” is pop rock, and the lyrics are full of optimism, enthusiasm, and self-determination. The upbeat harmonies sung by TREASURE’s members will give an extra dose of cheery allure.

TREASURE

In 2019, YG Entertainment launched the South Korean boy band Treasure via the reality show YG Treasure Box (2018–2019). All all, there are ten people in the band: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, and So Jung-hwan.

In May of 2022, Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam went on hiatus and left the band in November of that same year. In 2020, Treasure released his debut album, a single titled “The First Step: Chapter One,” the first in a tetralogy of albums that would sell over a million copies in only five months.

Junkyu, Bang Ye-dam, and So Jung-hwan have dabbled in the entertainment industry since they were little children. While Junkyu’s first career was as a child model, Bang made animation program theme songs and competed in K-pop Star 2 (2012-2013), where he came in second place behind Akdong Musician (AKMU).

So had a short career in child acting and was a member of the Taekwondo demonstration team K-Tigers, for which he earned a trophy. While Jihoon, Bang, and Doyoung filmed their trainee scenes for Stray Kids (2017), Mashiho appeared in AKMU’s Spring of Winter (2017)[6].

Both Choi Hyun-suk and Junkyu participated in Mix Nine (2017-2018), with Choi Hyun-suk placing fifth and Junkyu thirty-fifth. YG Entertainment chronicled Treasure’s inception through a series broadcast on both JTBC2 and the internet.

In November 2018-2019, YG presented twenty-nine male trainees to the world, all of whom will be eliminated over the season. Haruto, Bang Ye-dam, So Jung-hwan, Junkyu, Park Jeong-woo, Yoon Jae-hyuk, and Choi Hyun-suk all joined together at the end to form the septet Treasure.

Magnum is the name given to the label’s second group of trainees, which was introduced in January 2019 and included Ha Yoon-bin, Mashiho, Doyoung, Yoshi, Jihoon, and Asahi.

After Ha left the label in December 2019 to pursue a solo career, Treasure and Magnum were fused into one permanent team titled Treasure, the first boy band to appear on the label since the introductions of Big Bang, Winner, and iKon.
