Blackpink and BTS Are Nominated For the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. Both BTS and BLACKPINK, two popular K-pop acts, have racked up several nominations for the 2019 People’s Choice Awards. The nominees for the 2018 People’s Choice Awards presentation were revealed on October 26. The winners will be chosen entirely by popular vote.
Out of all the K-pop acts competing this year, BTS has the most nominations. Their single “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” and their music video for “The Group of 2022” all received nods, as did their concert tour “Permission to Dance on Stage.” The K-pop boyband took home both of those gongs from the People’s Choice Awards last year.
Singer Jungkook of BTS, who worked with Charlie Puth on the song “Left And Right,” was also nominated in two categories. Both the Music Video of 2022 and the Collaboration Song of 2022 categories feature this song, which is up against “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” for the award for best music video.
At the 2022 People’s Choice Awards, K-pop quartet BLACKPINK was nominated for two categories: The Group of 2022 and The Music Video of 2022, both of which they will be competing against BTS. In addition to Coldplay, 5 Seconds of Summer, Panic! at the Disco, and Panic! Like Panic! At The Disco and Meskin.

Participants and fans can cast up to 25 votes every day.
On December 6 at 9 pm ET, the official awards presentation will take place. Tomorrow (October 28) at 1 pm KST, BTS member Jin will release his first solo single, titled “The Astronaut.” Both he and Coldplay, with whom BTS worked on the 2021 single “My Universe,” contributed to the song’s composition.
