BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez Get Together Backstage: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa make up the South Korean girl group Blackpink, who was discovered and signed to YG Entertainment. The group made their debut in August 2016.
The single album Square One, which featured the songs “Whistle” and “Boombayah,” both of which became instant hits, reaching the top spot on the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea and the top spot on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart in the United States.
Blackpink is the most successful Korean female group abroad and is frequently referred to as the “largest girl group in the world.”
Their single “Ice Cream” peaked at number thirteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, and their second studio album Born Pink peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 in 2022; it was the first album by a Korean girl group to sell more than two million copies.
They also broke new ground by becoming the first Korean girl group to join and top the Billboard Emerging Artists chart.

The pop star resorted to Twitter on November 27 to share some photos from backstage during one of BLACKPINK‘s North American tour stops in Newark, captioning the collection of images with the phrase “Selpink chillin’.”

Pictures of Selena, Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa posing with their arms around each other illustrate their tight friendship. The tweet was popular among Selena and BLACKPINK fans because the two artists worked together on the upcoming single “Ice Cream,” which will be on the group’s debut studio album “The Album” (due out in 2020).

The North American portion of BLACKPINK’s tour is now over. After that, they’ll begin their European tour with stops in London, Barcelona, Cologne, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, and Amsterdam.
