According to the group’s agency, the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK was listed on the Guinness World Records as the most streamed girl group globally.
YG Entertainment claimed, citing the Guinness World Records release, that as of March 3, the band’s songs have accumulated 8.88 billion streams, surpassing the previous 8.4 billion streams set by the British girl group Little Mix.
BLACKPINK became the first K-pop act to top Spotify’s global weekly chart with “Shut Down,” the lead single from their second full-length album.

On the world’s most significant music streaming service, the band has more than 38 million fans. The group now holds 20 Guinness World Records, including those for having the most subscribers on YouTube and being the first female K-pop group to debut at No. 1 on the major British and American album charts.
