The ‘BORN PINK’ Experience of Blackpink is Coming to London but only for three days. Following the announcement that Japanese artist Verdy would serve as artistic director for BLACKPINK’s Born Pink world tour, the first glimpse at his collaborative works is now available.
In the guise of a pop-up experience in London, the Born Pink pop-up will feature Verdy’s signature Vick character and YG Entertainment’s mascot, KRUNK, as well as limited-edition merchandise for fans to purchase.
Visitors will be able to select from a variety of premium T-shirts, caps, sweatshirts, and accessories, all designed by Verdy specifically for the event. Those who purchase an item from the collection will receive a Verdy-designed limited-edition tote bag.

As the experience is presented by American Express, cardmembers, and a companion will have exclusive access to the event one hour before it opens, and they will be able to purchase two exclusive items — a black hoodie and matching sweatpants — that other guests will not have access to.
In addition to having access to a dedicated purchasing lane, Amex cardholders will receive a special sticker to personalize their tote bags. Verdy designed the exclusive capsule to complement the international scope of BLACKPINK’s 22-country tour, which will conclude on August 26.

The Born Pink Pop-Up Experience will give fans access to an added dimension of the group’s record-breaking Born Pink World Tour with a limited edition merchandise collection that will include premium tee shirts, hoodies, hats, and accessories designed by Verdy exclusively for the event.

Verdy has created the exclusive capsule collection to coincide with upcoming global activations, where he creates a world that merges his distinct artistic touch with Blackpink’s trendsetting aesthetic. Verdy is a graphic artist from Osaka, Japan, currently residing in Tokyo.
He is notably known for his iconic projects Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, his panda-rabbit character Vick and most recently, Visty. Verdy has worked with brands such as Nike, Human Made, Instagram, Levi’s, The Minions, Coachella, Dover Street Market, and more. His creative efforts continue to thrive, acquiring him recognition worldwide.
