After Hong Kong concert attitude controversy, Chinese netizens attacked Blackpink Jennie’s Instagram

Chinese internet users claim that Jennie did not give her all on the musical stages in Hong Kong. She had a terrible attitude with her Chinese followers, as well, according to internet users. Fans have already stated that Jennie’s facial expressions were misinterpreted by opponents to harm her reputation among Chinese internet users.

With approximately 1 billion views, the subject rose to the top trending search on Weibo, and a video targeting Jennie had over 13 million views and 1.2 million likes. Fans have requested the necessary action against these antis of YG entertainment.

Jennie Kim, better known by her stage name Jennie, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She was born on January 16, 1996. Born and raised in South Korea, Jennie spent five years there studying before returning in 2010.

In August 2016, she made her debut as a member of the YG Entertainment girl group Blackpink. Jennie released her first song as a solo artist, “Solo,” in November 2018. The song was a commercial hit, topping the Gaon Digital Chart and the World Digital Songs chart on Billboard.

Under the stage name Jennie Ruby Jane, she will make her acting debut in the 2023 HBO series The Idol season. Jennie Kim was a singleton born on January 16, 1996, in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Before relocating to New Zealand, she attended Cheongdam Elementary School in Seoul.

She visited Australia and New Zealand with her family when she was eight. Jennie responded “yes” when her mother asked if she liked New Zealand and wanted to stay; a year later, she was sent to study at Auckland’s Waikowhai Intermediate School and live with a homestay family.

In the MBC documentary English Must Change to Survive, Jennie discussed her experience picking up a new language (2006). She had an ambition of being a ballet dancer when she was younger. She enrolled in ACG Parnell College after completing intermediate.
