On Wednesday, Jisoo of Blackpink made an appearance at the Dior spring 2024 Paris Fashion Week catwalk show, updating the understated luxury style with a pair of black Dior combat boots and a wool jacket dress. An ebony Lady Dior handbag was an accessory for the Korean pop star.
WWD described the spring 2024 Dior runway collection—which Jisoo wore—as feminist punk with a gothic twist. According to critics, the collection drew inspiration from the house’s history, blending feminine and tomboyish styles.
One such piece was Christian Dior’s 1948 Abandon dress, which featured an asymmetrical neckline that revealed a large area of shoulder.

Since 2021, Jisoo has represented Dior as a brand ambassador. She re-emerged in March 2023 as one of the faces of Dior Addict lipstick, which she co-starred with Anya Taylor-Joy and artist Sharon Alexie in a new advertising campaign that debuted in February 2022.
Jisoo was a guest in the inaugural Dior presentation on a global scale, which took place in Seoul in April 2022, for the autumn 2022 collection.
Dior held its first big event in Seoul that evening, marking the first time the city has welcomed fully vaccinated visitors and travelers since the COVID-19 pandemic largely shut down the country for over two years.
Jisoo has also started her own agency Blisoo recently, you can read details about it here.
This past Saturday, Jisoo attended a Blackpink concert in Seoul while dressed in an exquisite Dior black tulle skirt and a floral-adorned top.
Also in attendance at Dior’s spring 2024 runway show was actress Charlize Theron, who has been associated with the fashion house since 2004 when she agreed to represent the J’Adore perfume. She made history as the first A-lister to endorse a fragrance by Dior.
