Nearly two decades have passed since Blazin Squad peaked at the top of the charts with Crossroads, but the band has changed drastically since then.
The band’s RnB-influenced first album, The Beginning, and six subsequent top-10 songs catapulted the group’s ten members to fame almost immediately.
Over the course of their career, the band amassed two gold albums and sold out stadium tours, including a headlining performance at Wembley Stadium.
According to Mirror Online, the band’s ten members all met in secondary school and were brought together by their passion of music.
After their careers in show business faltered, however, the Squad ended up taking radically different courses.
Check out what Kenzie, Strider and Freek are up to these days.
His high-profile relationships with celebrities after the band disbanded made him a tabloid favourite, making him one of the more memorable members of the group.
After dating Jodie Marsh in 2005, Kenzie participated on Celebrity Big Brother at the same time.
Kenzie has been dating his current fiancée since 2012, with whom he has two children, Wynter and Wyllow, after his highly publicised but short-lived affair with Marsh.
If you’re a fan of Kenzie, you may have a hard time recognising him as a 35-year-old personal trainer at Studio 23.
An upsurge in Rocky B – Marcel Sommervile Blazin’ Squad fandom occurred during the 2017 season of Love Island, courtesy to Marcel’s presence.
For whatever reason, he decided to reveal his time in the boy band one by one rather than keeping the news a secret from the rest of his island community.
Fan celebrations in front of the mansion led to band members performing on nightclub PAs this summer. Marcel found love again when his relationship with Gabby Allen, his co-star on the show, came to an end.
Roman was born at the end of January, and the couple named him after him.
MTV’s new programme Celebrity Bumps: Famous and Pregnant will feature Marcel and Rebecca discussing their pregnancy and the birth of their child.

Oliver Georgiou, formerly known as Freek, left the music business to pursue a career in corporate finance after ditching his wacky stage name.
Now he is back to what he loves most: managing bands.
Olivier was asked to participate on the E4 programme Tattoo Fixers to get his left bicep inking updated after Marcel’s stay on Love Island.
He had on his arm the dates of The Squad’s first number one and their record deal signing in the golden days of the band.
Following consultations with a team of specialists, the inking was revised to include a smoke-filled microphone in honour of their hard work and dedication.
Flava is James Murray and Strider is Mustafa Omer.
Flava and Strider formed their own songwriting and production firm when Blazin’ Squad’s fame faded.
Top-selling UK musicians including Leona Lewis, Naughty Boy and Professor Green have all had songs penned by Strider.
While he and Flava co-wrote and co-produced Sam Smith and Naughty Boy’s song La La La, their greatest success was co-writing and co-producing. In addition, Mustafa has a new wife.
Sam Foulkes is the voice of Spike-E.
Sam is said to be working in the import/export sector these days, although he still performs with the Blazin’ Squad whenever necessary.
He was loud about supporting his mate Marcel when he featured on the third season of Love Island and openly acknowledges his membership with the 00s boyband in his Twitter account.
Chris McKeckney – Melo-d
Following his departure from the music industry, Chris McKeckney is said to be working as an engineer. In addition to his peroxide blond hair, the actor sports a nasal piercing.
Stuart’s grown-out curls and designer stubble have replaced the gelled and shaven brows of his childhood.
With Welsh-born wife Zoe, he currently works as a media manager for the BBC. Social media indicates that the couple loves nothing more than taking far-flung vacations.
The Krazy – Lee Bailey
The after Blazin’ Squad’s disbandment, Lee retired from the public eye.
If the band broke up, Lee told the Manchester Evening News in 2004 that he wanted to continue in the business.
He made the following statement: “I’m thinking about going it alone or starting a blog. A lifelong dream of mine has always been to be an entertainer, and I’m considering a career as an actress.”
AKA: Tommy B the DJ (Tom Beasley)
It was Tommy’s decision to leave the entertainment industry as well, much like his old friend Lee.
Music is still a big part of his life, however. Tommy was a DJ prior to the lockdown.
It’s widely believed that Tommy was the brains behind Crossroads’ chart-topping achievement.
There were two gold albums, sold-out stadium tours, and even a headlining concert at Wembley during their short tenure. The band’s 10 members are all friends from high school who got together because of their passion of music. After their careers in show business faltered, however, the Squad ended up taking radically different courses.
