The exclusive contract dispute involving former LOONA member Chuu and her previous agency Blockberry Creative has taken a legal turn, now implicating Chuu’s mother. When Chuu’s mother filed a defamation case in January against Blockberry Creative’s CEO, alleging the circulation of false information during Chuu’s contract dispute, the situation quickly escalated into a legal battle. The management company has turned the tables and is threatening the idol’s mom.
Blockberry Creative’s Response To Chuu’s Mother’s Defamation Lawsuit
According to Chuu’s mom, Blockberry Creative made up allegations that her son was acting inappropriately by, among other things, abandoning the set of LOONA’s music video shoot before it was finished. She also alleged that the agency had spread false information about Chuu’s family by criticizing and questioning the attitudes of other members through critical communications. The charges were refuted by Chuu’s mother, who filed a complaint with the agency.
The case filed by Chuu’s mother was dropped by the police in October. Since Chuu’s mother made false charges, Blockberry Creative has retaliated by bringing a countersuit.
