They look for a new rural home for the client’s father in this episode. As of right now, the client’s mother and daughters live in the capital area, while his father, who wants to spend his final years near nature, is residing in Uiseong, Gyeongsang Province.
The customer wants to move to a country home close to the capital so that his family can visit him regularly since he worries about his father living alone.
Ganghwa in Incheon and Cheonan in Chungcheongnam-do were preferred places. They were searching for a house with a yard and room to plant crops. They also planned that a terminal, hospital, and rail station would all be accessible in a half-hour’s drive.
A large yard, kitchen, and warehouse would make this the perfect property for weekend get-togethers with the family. They stated that the purchase would cost between 200 and 300 million KRW (145,760 and 218,640 USD).
Park Joon Hyung told stories of his marriage and life with his wife and daughter while the two singers were on the road with comedian Jang Dong Min.
He said, “When I first got married, I argued with my wife a lot for the first six months. My wife is similar to Brian. I like to clean all at once but she can’t stand the mess.” However, Park Joon Hyung confessed, “But there are things I can’t stand either. It’s dishes piled up in the sink and also leaving garbage unorganized.”
Brian then pointed out, “You’re more obsessive (with cleaning) than I am,” and Park Joon Hyung responded, “It’s one thing if I only nag and don’t clean but I clean everything myself.”
In reply, comedian Jang Dong Min joked, “Even Park Joon Hyung Hyung acts like this. Will you be like him when you get married?” But Brian argued, “I’m not worried about that. Marriage? Not for me.” Jang Dong Min responded, “People who always say they won’t marry come to me later saying, ‘Oh, I’m getting married next month’.”
But, Brian refused, “That might be plausible if I was in my 20s or 30s. But when you get to your 40s, ‘Marriage’ becomes something ‘unnecessary’.”
At the filming studio, the talk proceeded, and Jang Dong Min clarified, saying, “We went through that phase too. But we got married.” Park Joon Hyung continued, “If you try to look for someone, you won’t find them. When you let it go, that’s when the right person comes to you. When you seek too much, you might end up with the wrong person because you’re in a hurry.”
Brian nodded and added, “I think what (Park Joon Hyung) said is true because when I get introduced to people because (acquaintances) think I would be a good match for them, I always start seeing the flaws first makes me lose interest. So I felt it was a waste of time.”
Park Joon Hyung added, “Effort shouldn’t be put into finding someone, but rather in getting to know each other. Setting aside all things, if you have a wife and child, that’s all that matters. Everything in life changes.”
