BTS Jungkook, the youngest member of the global sensation boy group, has finally released his solo debut single ‘Seven’ on July 14, 2023. The song, which features American rapper Latto, is a pop-rock anthem that showcases Jungkook’s powerful vocals and charisma.
The song is about finding one’s true self and embracing one’s destiny, regardless of the expectations and judgments of others. The lyrics also reference the number seven, which is significant for Jungkook as he is the seventh member of BTS, which debuted as a seven-member group in 2013.
‘Seven’ has been highly anticipated by fans and critics alike. Jungkook has previously released several solo songs as gifts to lovers, such as ‘Still With You’, ‘My Time’, ‘Euphoria’, and ‘Dreamers’. However, ‘Seven’ marks his official solo debut under Big Hit Music, BTS label.
The song has already broken several records, such as becoming the fastest song by a K-pop and Korean act to reach #1 on US iTunes, topping iTunes charts in over 100 countries worldwide, and becoming the most-viewed music video in 24 hours on YouTube.

The music video for ‘Seven’ features Korean actress Han So Hee, known for her roles in dramas such as ‘Nevertheless’ and ‘My Name’. The video depicts a dramatic story of a couple in love but facing conflicts and challenges. The video also showcases Jungkook’s acting skills and chemistry with Han So Hee.

Jungkook performed ‘Seven’ live for the first time on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on July 14, 2023. To promote his song, he also appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
