Much to the delight of viewers, the complete trailer for the long-awaited Korean drama Begins Youth (formerly known as YOUTH) has been unveiled. The drama’s premiere has been pushed back from 2020 to November 2023, but it will now definitely take place this year.
What makes the show stand out, though, is how similar the characters are to BTS members Jin, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, RM, J-Hope, and V. Fans are agog over the strong resemblance and can’t wait to find out if the drama pays tribute to the worldwide K-pop star.
BTS’s New K- Drama Begins Youth Trailer!
Inspired by BTS’s interrelated music videos and short films produced by HYBE and BigHit Music, the expansive fictitious plot known as The BTS Universe (BU) unfolds.
The plot expanded from its humble beginnings in the Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa and Most Beautiful Moment in Life series into a grand epic involving time travel and friendship. The medium has expanded beyond videos to include games, webtoons, and, most recently, a drama series titled Begins Youth.
In this new Korean drama, Hwan, Cein, Hosu, Dogeon, Haru, Jooan, and Jeha portray the roles of OT7. “Sacrifice,” “Rumor,” “Interest,” “Poverty,” “Memory,” “Violence,” and “Remarriage” are some of the keywords that the Begins Youth trailer uses to describe each of these friends’ struggles.

BTS’s K-drama Release Date
The BTS Universe-inspired show has not yet been officially announced. Nevertheless, the show’s makers have hinted at a potential 2024 release on an OTT platform, and current trends support this.
Bang Si Hyuk, creator of HYBE and an eyewitness to BTS’s rise to fame, discussed this Korean drama in depth during a press conference. “We are collaborating with a renowned Korean drama production company on a new drama, and it’s going to be revealed soon. The plot will revolve around BTS’s worldview.”
