Not long after joining the military on December 11th, members V and RM of BTS were photographed at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungcheongnam-do during their initial military appearance. Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who are currently serving, took leave to gather with Jimin and Jungkook, who are set to enlist the following day on the 12th.
The members departed from the base in their BTS Members V and RM Step into Military Bootsvehicles after saying goodbye. Before leaving, the families of other soldiers who enlisted on that same day also said their goodbyes. Following their entry processing at the recruitment inspection station, the newly enlisted soldiers, including V and RM, were led by drill instructors to the training center in a professional fashion.

V, donning a poncho provided by the military, pushed through the downpour on his way to the training facility. Even with the mask, V’s mesmerizing stare was impossible to miss. RM lined up with the other recruits at the training center, poncho hood pulled up snugly, a big bag slung over his shoulder.
After joining the army, this is the first time either of them is seen in a captured state as a soldier. Jimin and Jungkook will have joined the military on December 12 at a facility in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, making it five members of BTS who have started their mandatory military service.

In June of next year, Jin is anticipated to be discharged, and in October, J-Hope will follow. June 2025 is when Suga is scheduled for discharge. By June 2025, everyone is expected to finish their military service and return to civilian life.
