A new single by BTS member V has gone viral around the world. Returning to multiple rankings he has previously achieved, his track “Fri(end)s” also helps him gain his first smash on one significant list in one of the world’s top music markets.
On the Australian Registered Audio Music (ARIA) Songs Chart, which ranks the most-played songs in Australia, “Fri(end)s” debuts at No. 49. It gives V his first hit in the nation, but it just cracks onto the 50-spot score.

V joins three of his BTS comrades in making their debut on the ARIA singles chart. As the South Korean boy band continues to gain worldwide fame, more and more of its members are winning in Australia, albeit only half of the group has done thus far.
In addition to topping the U.S. sales for the week, the infectious beats and touching lyrics of BTS V’s “FRI(ENDS)” have won over our hearts. Come and join the party!
When it comes to the Australian song charts, Jung Kook is by far the most successful member of BTS. Under his own name, he has so far added five songs to the total. A featured artist on Charlie Puth’s “Left and Right” (2022-2022), which reached No. 19, began that run for him.
Jung Kook’s dominance in Australia was solidified in 2023 when he released four additional solo singles. He achieved No. 2 with his breakthrough single “Seven” with Latto. “3D” (starring Jack Harlow), the sequel, peaked at number seven.
V’s “FRI(END)S” debuts at #1 on New Zealand Hot Singles Chart, joining Jungkook’s “Seven (ft. Latto), “3D (ft. Jack Harlow)” and “TOO MUCH” as the only songs by Kpop soloist in history to top the chart (4th K-act overall). 🇳🇿

His next single, “Too Much,” which peaked at No. 10, was supported by the popular local artist The Kid Laroi. Atop the charts at No. 33, his own “Standing Next to You” was another top 40 hit.
Additionally, Jimin has amassed multiple solo hits, which he achieved in 2023. Their collaboration on Taeyang’s “Vibe” propelled them to the 48th spot. As for Jimin’s solo work, “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reached No. 71 and “Like Crazy” reached No. 23, which was his highest charting single to date.
Jimin’s “Like Crazy” has been crowned the Best K-Pop Song of the Year at the Planeta Awards by Radio Planeta 107.7 FM! 🔥
