CJ ENM stated that tvN’s unscripted variety show “Seojin’s Korean Street Food” will be Amazon Prime Video’s first Korean variety show under the moniker “Jinny’s Kitchen” due to global demand.
In “Jinny’s Kitchen,” Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Sik, and BTS’s V run a Korean restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.
In a press release titled “BTS V effect,” Seo Jang Ho, Senior Vice President of Content Distribution at CJ ENM, one of South Korea’s biggest conglomerates, shared:
“Seojin’s” is the first Korean entertainment program to be serviced globally by Amazon Prime Video, which means a lot to both CJ ENM and Prime Video.”
Variety events rarely have pre-sales like Korean dramas and films do, demonstrating Taehyung’s enormous demand and global appeal. Every Friday after the episode airs in Korea, new episodes of “Jinny’s Kitchen” will be available to Prime Video subscribers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam beginning on February 24.
Later in the spring, the show will debut on Prime Video in other nations worldwide. The cast will be filming in Mexico, where the stunning scenery and mouthwatering Korean street cuisine will be showcased in a highlights teaser that was recently released.
In addition, tvN is promoting “Jinny’s Kitchen” in South Korea with an exclusive Taehyung-focused commercial. Taehyung is seen working on a variety of projects, such as cooking, cleaning, doing the dishes, and soliciting business.
Fans’ interest in the show has grown as a result of the new teasers. They were happy to see Taehyung getting praise from the other cast members for being a hard-working intern and finding time to have fun in Mexico outside of work.
