Members of BTS, including V (Kim Taehyung), recently discussed their puppy, Kim Yeontan, on an episode of Pixid. During his entertaining segment with cat owners, V—who has a strong relationship with his pet—discussed Yeontan’s experience surviving two heart-related surgeries that were unsuccessful.

“I own a Pomeranian named Kim Yeontan,” V revealed on the show. He has been my partner for seven years. “Tan has a bad heart and had surgery twice,” he confessed later. However, on both occasions, it failed.
There was a constant risk that he might have perished during each failed operation. However, he remained alive because of his powerful will. It meant the world to me that he battled for his life.

V of BTS and his dog Yeontan (or Tan) recently went live on Weverse! V surprised everyone on March 10 with an unexpected Weverse live, with special guest Yeontan, in what looked like his home gym. ARMYs couldn’t contain their excitement since these two have the most endearing interactions.
Reverse Live was, without a doubt, brimming with heartfelt moments. Yeontan received kissees from V. Yet V startled the ARMYs when he seemed to swallow Yeontan whole.

In case you were wondering, V has done this before. “Pretending to eat Yeontan” has been his go-to since puppyhood.
Because Pomeranians often have trachea collapse, which V mentioned earlier, Yeontan has a narrow airway and has difficulty breathing. Yeontan continues to face challenges after undergoing surgery to broaden it; yet, these procedures did not fix the underlying issue.
