Bulgasal Immortal Souls Season 2 Renewal Updates, Is It Coming In 2022?

For the past 600 years, a woman and a man have both been reincarnated as a Bulgasal, a mythical creature that feeds on human blood and has been condemned to eternal life by the gods because of their immortality. As a result of a husband-and-wife team, Jang Young-woo directs the film and penned the script.

The romantic fantasy drama ‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls,’ which is part of Netflix’s vast library of elevated aspirational K-Dramas, does well. With a focus on ancient customs of vengeance and circular time, the series creates a multi-decade narrative.

After the deaths of his wife and child, Dan Hwal transforms Bulgasal. He embarks on a journey to find the woman who gave him life. For now, the naive protagonist must ponder his past.

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2 Release Date

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 1 premiered on Netflix and tvN December 18, 2021, and ended on February 6, 2022. Sixteen episodes are included in the first season, with each episode lasting about an hour or so. During the 16th episode, the words “endgame” and their Korean translation are shown on the screen. Finally, the rumors of a second season are put to rest.

The show began well in its home country, but ratings dropped rapidly in the following weeks. In addition, the show has gained a devoted following across the globe. If Netflix decides to cash in on the story of Dan Hwal and Min Sang-un, we may see it grow. In addition, the finale leaves viewers eager for a second season to be released.

For its inventive narrative, compelling characters, ambient soundtrack, stunning videography, and impressive results by the core characters, the drama was highly praised.

Even though the first season ends on a high note, a second season is not out of the question. Unfortunately, a second season of ‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls’ is unlikely to be produced due to the show’s fluctuating ratings and abrupt conclusion.

Our Final Thoughts

If the second season of Hwal and Sang-following un is produced, their stories could serve as the basis for one. For now, we’ll have to wait until the second season to see if they’ve been able to overcome their horrific past.

Similarly, the second season may go back even further in time and explain the story of Bulgasal in greater detail. We haven’t met Min Si-child ho’s or Nam Do-wife Yun’s in person yet. Are there plans for a second season to document their futures?

That’s what we’re hoping for. Is history a replay of events, or do Min Sang-un and Dan Hwal meet in other lives? It’s possible that the curse has been broken and that Hwal’s family will reunite. The second season promises to answer all of our questions.
