Reflecting on his journey, he said, “After working hard for 8-9 years, I’m in awe and deeply grateful for all the love I’m receiving.” Byun Woo Seok also shared the exciting news that his career is flourishing, revealing, “I’m now getting 10 to 20 times more offers for roles.”

The actor also disclosed that the drama’s production journey spanned three years before it kicked off. He elaborated, “Bagging my first lead role was a leap of faith, especially since I wasn’t widely recognized. The script initially floated to other actors, hence the prolonged wait. I’m immensely grateful that fate eventually brought it my way.” He added, “Upon reading the script, I felt an instant connection—like a magnetic pull drawing me towards it.”

The actor continued, “Having cut my teeth in the modeling realm, I relished the spotlight, but the scathing reviews in my acting journey instilled a lingering camera phobia. I grappled with the existential question of whether this path was truly meant for me.”
Byun Woo Seok recounted hearing candid assessments from his inner circle, though their intentions were benign. Recollecting their words, he shared, “Some opined, ‘Your breakthrough might not come for another 4-5 years.’ Ironically, the tides turned just around that timeframe. Faced with such remarks, I resolved to defy the odds. I refused to let their words deter my pursuit.”
He continued, “Instead of remaining stagnant, I confronted my shortcomings and past traumas head-on by fully immersing myself in the craft. No role was too small for me—I embraced each opportunity as a chance for growth, and I believe that’s how I triumphed.”

My pride wounded, I grappled with self-doubt—’ Am I not good enough?’ Tears flowed freely, yet amidst the turmoil, a fire ignited within me, urging me to strive for excellence.“
