South Korean girl group Cherry Bullet (Korean: RR: cheri beullet) is managed by FNC W, a division of FNC Entertainment. Let’s Play Cherry Bullet, their debut EP, was released on January 21, 2019. Haeyoon, Yuju, Bora, Jiwon, Remi, Chaerin, and May are the current seven-person lineup of the group.
In December 2019, three of the group’s original 10 members—Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin—decided to leave. In the past, Haeyoon has been introduced as one of the female trainees for FNC Entertainment on the Mnet survival show Produce 48. She came in the nineteenth and hence did not make it into the manufactured girl group Iz*One.
Bora used to work as a trainee for Music K Entertainment. Yuju, another member of BTS, also had a cameo in Honeyst’s “Someone to Love” music video, and both of them appeared in the Love Yourself: Her highlight reel.
Using Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You” as his audition song, Jiwon made it through to the first season of SBS’s K-pop Star and eventually became a trainee for Starship Entertainment. She was featured in 2012’s “White Love” music video by Starship Planet.
