Allegedly, this involved verbal abuse directed towards employees. The publishing of Dispatch’s extensive exposé, however, put the public on her side.
Chuu sued her former agency that same year, citing income settlement and trust violation as concerns. When the court granted her preliminary injunction, it was a partial approval of her case.
The court’s attempt at mediating the dispute last year was also fruitless. Subsequently, BlockBerry Creative’s December 2017 exclusive contract with Chuu was declared null and void by the 12th Civil Division of the Seoul Northern District Court. The entertainment agency was also ordered by the court to pay for the legal fees of both parties.

The 7th Civil Division of the Seoul High Court sided with the plaintiff, Chuu, on March 8, therefore she has now won her second trial against BlockBerry Creative. Judgment of the first trial’s validity was upheld, the court said. Before this, BlockBerry Creative appealed the first trial’s decision.
As a solo artist, Chuu is currently promoting herself through her new agency, ATRP.
