Cities Skylines 2 Release Date

The anticipated release year for Cities: Skylines 2 is 2023. The PlayStation 5, Xbox One Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass platforms will all be supported. The game, revealed during the Paradox Announcement Event on March 6, 2023, is being developed as a massive next-gen sequel that would bring gamers more diversity and customization options by adding new cities and skylines worldwide.

Even though Paradox and developer Colossal Order has yet to disclose any gameplay footage, we have some clues as to how the gameplay in Cities Skylines 2 will improve over the previous game. Paradox Interactive CEO Fredrik Wester predicts that Cities: Skylines 2 will further advance the city-building genre by providing players unparalleled personalization and control.

According to the official press release, the game will allow players to experience “sophisticated modding capabilities,” many construction and customization possibilities, and manage everything from individual families to the city’s transportation and economic systems.
