Creed 3 Release Date: Michael B. Jordan is a man of many hats (in the upcoming Rocky franchise installment). In Creed III, the sexist man alive (as noted by People magazine in 2020) directs and stars as the stubborn boxer Adonis, son of Apollo Creed (Sylvester Stallone), who was first introduced in the original Sylvester Stallone movies.
Although information about Jordan’s directorial debut has been kept under wraps since 2020 (he is succeeding Ryan Coogler and Steven Caple Jr., who directed the first and second films, respectively), first-look photos of the chiseled movie star seated in the boxing ring suggest the juiced-up Adonis is more than ready for the fights to come.
Jonathan Majors, who plays the villain Damian, is also a well-known hunk and is included in the initial round of photos. Featuring students from Morehouse, Spellman, and Clark Atlanta Universities, the teaser premiered at a surprise in-person screening on October 17 before making its online debut the next day.
(It will undoubtedly be exciting to see these two go at it until the finish.) Here’s the lowdown on the new film that promises to settle the question of who’s the sexiest man alive.
Creed 3 Release Date
The original release date for Creed III was November 2022, however, the new date is March 3rd, 2023. If the first two films, Creed and Creed II, were any indication, the third installment would also hit theatres. No word from the authorities yet, but we’ll be sure to update this post with any new information we receive. Creed 3 Release Date is 3rd March 2023.

Creed 3 Cast
If you’ve been following the Rocky sequels and prequels, you know that the series is led by Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo, Rocky’s nemesis in the first picture. Tessa Thompson, who played Adonis’s girlfriend Bianca in the first two Creed films, is back for the third.
Thompson told MTV that she thinks her co-sensuality stars will give him an advantage when he directs them both: “It’s going to be ammo, I think, for me when he is engaging with me as a director,” she added, and the audience nodded in agreement since everyone agrees that Jordan is just too fine.
Just advise him to tone it down a bit (as in, “I’m telling him to turn down the sensuality.”) Having the actor who portrays Marvel’s Kang the Conqueror, among other roles, as the movie’s villain, Damian, would likely be too much for her to handle, so I hope she doesn’t share my opinion that Majors has it going on, too.

First and foremost, I think Jonathan Majors is fantastic,” Jordan said at a press conference on October 17. So incredibly fortunate to have him in the story… Every day, more and more people learn about this man’s remarkable accomplishments and give him credit where credit is due.
Jordan praised the “amazing” supporting cast, which includes series regulars like Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, and Florian Munteanu. In the meantime, this is the first installment that does not feature series creator and original actor Sylvester Stallone. Jordan has also stated that Dreamville and J. Cole will be executive producing the album’s soundtrack. You may also read Terrifier 2 Release Date
Creed 3 Plot
What little we can deduce about the plot centers around a fight between Jordan and Majors, which promises to be a steamy show sure to attract an audience. Majors mentioned his personal trauma in an interview with Men’s Health, suggesting that his character’s history may be related to it. “There are particular reasons you construct your body,” he told the publication.
Dame’s physical form is a product of her grief. He was missing a piece of himself, and filling that need was what drove him to succeed. Seeing Dame’s corpse makes you think, “Ah, that explains it.” You can’t have that expression on your face and be content with your life. Where Majors’ commentary left off, the trailer began.
It seems that Adonis’s boyhood friend, Damian, has been released from prison. There’s some confusion about the specifics, but it’s evident that Damian is out for retribution against Adonis for the wrongdoing he did to him during his run-in with the law that placed him in jail.
At a press conference, Jordan discussed the film’s themes, describing it as the “most tough thing that I’ve ever done by far,” including a return home, paying off debts, and taking responsibility for one’s actions. “You have to face your past and find out who you truly are,” the filmmaker advised.
I believe that this is something that is dealt with in this film… I aimed to write something that would strike a chord with readers on a universal level. His technique for weaving a story that anybody can identify with? Focusing on his own life as an example: “As a young guy, as a young Black man, I had a lot to say [about] my life experiences and how I could truly share a piece of myself with the world via these characters and through this story,” he says.
In addition to the film’s themes, a developing romance develops between Adonis and Bianca. I feel like there’s a moment where adults, individuals in a relationship, have to make choices,” Jordan began his thought experiment, which felt like an indirect statement on his breakup with Lori Harvey.
Asking, “How can you reach a middle ground? I mean, where exactly is that compromise? How can a partnership between two very successful individuals thrive? … Just how does that appear? If you’re in a relationship, who’s doing the heaviest lifting? Earlier, when asked about the development of the main relationship, he said, “I guess it was a mirror of the kind of where I was in my life, you know, professionally, personally.” He later elaborated on this, saying that he could relate to Adonis.
Is There A Creed 3 Trailer?
No trailer has been released as of yet, but Michael B. Jordan has given fans their first look at the film’s poster, which depicts him getting ready for a boxing match with Jonathan Majors’ character, Anderson Dame.
Why Is Stallone Not In Creed 3?
There’s a reason why Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) won’t be in Creed 3. Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis Creed, son of Rocky’s buddy and rival Apollo Creed, who was slain by Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Sylvester Stallone’s legendary boxer had a crucial role in the spinoff franchise, serving as Adonis’ coach in Creed and Creed 2.
However, you won’t see him in the third chapter of the series. The initial Creed 3 trailer highlighted Rocky’s absence by focusing almost entirely on Adonis, his family, and his origin story. Since the first Rocky movie was released in 1976, this is the first time Stallone has not been a part of the franchise.
Speaking to Metro UK, Stallone revealed the reason for his absence from Creed 3: “For various reasons, I decided not to participate in [Creed 3]. I just wasn’t sure whether I fit in anywhere. But I’ve heard that it’s a fascinating read. It strays off in a new course. Have fun punching them and I hope they succeed.”
The storyline of Creed obviously turns its focus to its titular figure, therefore the actor’s decision not to return makes sense. Also, after what happened to Rocky Balboa at the end of Creed 2, you can’t blame him for feeling this way.
