Death Note is one of the most well-known anime series. The topic of today’s article is Death Note and when it was released. Tsugumi Ohba wrote Death Note, which was animated by Madhouse Productions.

The anime is regarded as a masterpiece due to its gripping plot that will have you biting your nails. The plot centre around Light Yagami, who comes across a Shinigami Ryuk’s Death Note. The idea behind death was that if someone touched it, they would be able to view and communicate with the Shinigami who once owned the Death Note.

The Death Note can kill individuals by writing down the name of the person they want to kill while imagining their face.

It also enables the owner of the Death Note to specify the cause of death. If no reason is given, the person will die of a heart attack. However, if they do write a cause, it must be completed in less than 6 minutes 40 seconds.

Release Date Of Death Note

Death Note is a 37-episode animated series. It aired in Japan from October 3, 2006, to June 27, 2007.

Following the debut of Death Note, a number of adaptations were released. Death Note 2: The Last Name, directed by Shusuke Kaneko, was released on June 17, 2006, and the Death Note movie, directed by Adam Wingard, was released on Netflix in 2017.

Plot Of Death Note

Death Note’s anti-hero protagonist is Light Yagami. The light was a brilliant high school kid with a strong sense of right and wrong.

Soichiro Yagami, his father, was the NPA’s chief. Light believed that “the world is rotten, and those who rot it deserve it; someone has to do it, so why not me,” and he was willing to take the law into his own hands in order to send those criminals away for good.

Death Note, a mysterious book that may murder anyone whose name is written on it, is discovered by Light. He was interested in it, so he put it to the test, but it later became a tool to help him achieve his goal of eradicating all criminals from the planet.

After his ordeals, Light became known over the world as Kira. As Kira’s fame grew, Interpol enlisted the help of an enigmatic detective known only as L to catch her. For most of the series, L was Light’s arch-enemy.

L creates an FBI task force designated “Kira Task Force” to monitor FBI officers and their families since he suspects Kira has familial ties. L had cause to assume Light was Kira after some inquiry, so he enrolled him into the Kira Task Force to keep an eye on him.

After obtaining Death Note, actress-model Misa Amane makes a deal with Rem, her Shinigami, to obtain Shinigami eyes in exchange for half of her life span, allowing her to kill anyone simply by knowing their face.

She discovers Light’s true identity as Kira while looking for him to become her boyfriend. Light, on the other hand, has other ideas. He aims to use Misa to ascertain L’s identity and assassinate him.Death Note

How does Kira kill his Arch-Nemesis L?

Light attempted to learn L’s name, and he came close to succeeding with his attempt to force L to meet Misa in public. L was too clever for this to work on him, so he took her phone and answered it for her, preventing Light from learning L’s real name.

In his second effort, he devised a masterwork of a scheme, complete with memory loss, in which he duped Rem into killing herself to save Misa, while L perished in the process. Rem disintegrates after she writes L’s real name in her Death Note, and Light steals her Death Note. The first part of the Death Note series is now complete.

Death Note is available on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
