Demon Slayer: The Age, Height, and Birthdays of All the Major Characters!

The characters in Demon Slayer’s cast are all quite distinctive. This is all the information you need to know about the most important aspects of the situation.

Popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge. The show currently only has one season, which aired from April to September 2019, and a follow-up movie that was released a year later. The second season of Demon Slayer, which is published by Shueisha and produced by Ufotable, will premiere in the fall of 2021.

The story revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, a man driven to become a Demon Slayer after a demon-possessed his sister, Nezuko, and killed his entire family. To join the Demon Slayer Corps, he meets Giyu Tomioka, a member of the group. Spoilers will be kept to a minimum, but they can’t be completely eradicated from the internet. You should keep that in mind if you haven’t seen the anime yet. Mark Sammut made the following update on March 27, 2022: “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s” second season came to an end with the Entertainment District Arc, which solidified the show’s place in recent memory. With the conclusion of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, the future of Tanjiro and his friends is now crystal clear to the show’s fans. There are a lot of powerful demons and likable allies in this grouping. A few more Demon Slayer characters have been added to this article’s roster.

Nezuko Kamado

A 12-year-old demon, Nezuko Kamado is one of the youngest characters in Demon Slayer, which begins with her transformation into a demon. Although Nezuko has reached the age of 14, she has not aged physically since that fateful day, and this is something that will not change unless Tanjiro discovers a cure. Nezuko’s demonic transformation naturally altered her personality, making her far more fearless and direct than she was as a human. Some of her old characteristics, like her desire to protect Tanjiro, are still with her.

Nezuko Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado

With his family murdered and his sister turned to the dark side by an evil spirit, Tanjiro’s life has been turned into a living nightmare by the demon slayer. Angry and in love with his sibling, Tanjiro enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps to rid the world of demons and find a way to bring Nezuko back to life. Although Tanjiro is a kind and gentle soul, he is not afraid to make difficult choices. Tanjiro has no illusions about sparring with demons or that killing would make him no better than his enemies; he gets the job done.

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke Hashibira is prone to rushing into battle without much consideration. Inosuke’s tendency to overestimate his own abilities, coupled with his constant desire to challenge anyone who might be able to match him in combat, has resulted in him finding himself in hot water. As a child, Inosuke was raised by boars, as evidenced by his preference for hats. This means that Inosuke has a hard time adapting to human culture, but thanks to his affiliation with the Demon Slayers Corps he is gradually becoming more accepting of human traditions, emotions, and customs.

Inosuke Hashibira

Zenitsu Agatsuma

Zenitsu Agatsuma, despite being a few years older than Tanjiro, doesn’t come across as arrogant because his default setting is to flee. Zenitsu is a skilled marksman thanks to his years spent studying under Jigoro Kuwajima, despite his reticent demeanor when it comes to wielding a weapon. Zenitsu has a fair complexion and golden eyes. Because he was struck by lightning, his hair is bright yellow and shaped like a bowl cut.

Genya Shinazugawa

In addition to witnessing the murder of his siblings by his demonized mother, Genya is another character with a tragic past. He also witnessed his only surviving brother, Sanemi, murder his mother, which he witnessed from afar. Genya is a formidable fighter with the ability to absorb the abilities of demons despite the fact that he is unable to use Breathing Techniques. At the beginning of the anime, Genya isn’t the most pleasant Demon Slayer to deal with because of his temperament. However, as the series progresses, Genya becomes more outgoing.

Genya Shinazugawa

Kanao Tsuyuri

Tiny black hair in a ponytail is Kanao’s only distinguishing feature. To protect herself from the traumas of a rough childhood, Kanao decided to close herself off completely. There were long periods in her life in which Kanao exhibited little or no emotion and refused to make any decisions of her own, preferring instead to rely on those around her or luck. In the same way that heroic Demon Slayer characters mature as the series progresses, Kanao does so, but the anime only hints at it.

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu is a man of few words, and he believes that others should be the same. Even though his sister sacrificed her life to save him as a child, Ginyu’s attempts to tell others about what happened only resulted in him being shunned. It’s easy to mistake Giyu’s confident demeanor for that of a more junior member of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Giyu Tomioka

Sanemi Shinazugawa

The Wind Hashira appears to be a dangerous individual who should not be tampered with. His maniacal stare appears to be enough to stop an assailant in their tracks. This Hashira’s attacks have the potential to do some serious damage, but how much? While manga readers may be aware, it’s the anime’s potential and its visuals that have fans excited to see Shinazugawa in action.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

Tengen Uzui

Even though Tengen’s origin story doesn’t revolve around demons, it is nonetheless tragic. Tengen was raised in a ninja clan and trained by his father, who was known to be cruel, to pursue his own desires at the expense of others. Tengen, who was tricked by his parent into killing some of his own siblings, eventually left the nest to forge his own path. Tengen’s erratic personality is the result of a difficult childhood and an attempt to break away from his father’s strict religious beliefs.

Tengen Uzui

Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu is the most approachable and endearing member of the Demon Slayer Corps at first glance. Always smiling, she’s always ready for a joke. Her hatred for demons stems from the death of Kanae Kocho, her sister, and this is merely an attempt to control the uncontrollable rage she feels towards them. Shinobu is a master of the blade and the tongue. With a few well-chosen sentences, this Demon Slayer character can reduce even the most confident of warriors to a puddle of insecurity. In addition, she will grin as she goes about her daily routine.

Mitsuri Kanroji

As one of the show’s more distinctive characters, Love Hashira has a lot going for her. While her time on Earth was brief, the impact this Demon Slayer will have on the world will be immense. Fans can’t wait to see how she uses her abilities in battle, which is sure to be a visually stunning event. If you can call it that, the concept of Love Breathing is unlike anything else we’ve seen on the show.

mitsuri kanroji

Muichiro Tokito

Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, doesn’t show much outward emotion and can appear uninterested or uncaring. Muichiro, on the other hand, tends to go off on his own more often than not. Even though Muichiro’s demeanor makes him seem unapproachable, his backstory sheds light on his character development. All of this stems from a personal tragedy that left him without the memories and context to shape and control his anger.

Muichiro Tokito

Obanai Iguro

As the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro has already proven to be a formidable opponent. This character’s design suggests that he is rather enigmatic, so not much is known about him. Despite the fact that his abilities are still unknown, the concept of Serpent Breathing sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll have to wait and see how he develops as a character in the future.

Sabito

In the midst of a stalemate with Sakonji in preparation for the Final Selection, Tanjiro unwittingly met an aggressive new mentor in the form of Sabito. When Sabito first dismisses the hopeful Demon Slayer as being too weak to benefit from Sakonji’s training, he eventually pushes him to his limit. After just a few episodes, Sabito’s time in the anime comes to an abrupt end. It’s possible that his influence on Tanjiro’s growth is even greater than Sakonji’s. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba doesn’t hold back when it comes to the emotional impact of his past.

Sabito

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro Rengoku, the fiery new star of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, arrived like a bolt from the blue. He has a sincerity that most characters in the anime lack, apart from perhaps Tanjiro, apart from his vivacity and charm. In other words, Kyojuro’s cheerful demeanor isn’t a ruse to deceive others into thinking he’s in the clear. He’s the type of person who sees the silver lining in even the bleakest of circumstances.

kyojuro rengoku

Rui

When it comes to the first season of Demon Slayer, Rui was Tanjiro’s most frightful foe. This demon is extremely dangerous and unforgiving due to the fact that it was rejected by his human parents as a result of his transformation into a demon, which is why he maintains a civilized demeanor. Since then, the villain has been attempting to replace the family he lost with a new one of “loving” family members. Rui, despite not being one of the Twelve Kizuki’s highest-ranking members, should not be underestimated. The villain’s abilities allow him to enhance or even change the appearance of other demons, which he uses to supplement his bulky frame.

Rui

Muzan Kibutsuji

One of the most intriguing characters in the entire series is Demon Slayer’s antagonist. Despite the fact that Muzan hasn’t appeared in the anime very often thus far, his cold-hearted method of killing some of his most powerful lieutenants is quite chilling to watch. Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayers seem helpless in the face of Muzan’s might, and it’s hard to fathom how they will ever defeat him. But there is still time for the characters to get stronger and at least put up a decent fight, if not more.

Muzan Kibutsuji

Akaza

The new Upper-Rank Three Demon from Demon Slayer: Mugen Train has left a lasting impression on the community. The Flame Hashira died in a bloody duel with Rengoku, which was a sight to behold. We can expect Akaza to play a significant role in the events to come, so don’t mess with him. Unfortunately, only manga readers are privy to the final outcome; anime viewers will have to wait until later in the year to find out.

Akaza

Daki

In Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District Arc, Daki is introduced as one of the main villains, and his vicious and cruel personality stems from his insecurities and his desire to win Muzan’s favor. As a courtesan, she was burned alive, only to be “saved” by her brother, Gyutaro, as she lay dying on her deathbed. Even though the siblings frequently argue, they have always been close. Daki is a mystery beyond the fact that she was turned into a demon as a teenager and has been around for more than a century. Tanjiro and Nezuko are dwarfed by Daki, despite the fact that her exact height has not been revealed. Muzan and her brother are both taller than her, but she is shorter.

Daki

Doma

In the final episode of Demon Slayer, Doma, the Twelve Kizuki’s Upper Rank Two demon, was introduced as a character. Powerful and depraved, Doma’s pleasant facade is nothing more than a mask that can be taken off at any time. While the Demon is completely unfeeling in most situations, he sees humans as pathetic lesser beings that deserve the villain’s idea of salvation (death, basically).

Doma

Gyutaro

Gyutaro, Daki’s younger brother, is the true Upper Rank Six powerhouse of the Twelve Kizuki. Both his appearance and personality make Gyutaro a formidable opponent because of his unusual physique and propensity for violence. Gyutaro, despite the fact that he cares for his sister, shows little regard for anyone else and prefers to target those he thinks are better off than he is. Demon Slayer has withheld information on Gyutaro, including his height and birth date, in the same manner as it did for Daki. Gyutaro, like his sister, has reached the century mark. As far as height goes, he’s at least 5 feet 10 inches taller than Daki.

Gyutaro

Even though the horror of Doma has not yet reached them, anime fans can look forward to a future full of cults, charismatic sociopaths, and bloody battles.
