Elder Scrolls 6: Release Date Status, Location, Races, and Latest Updates

The Elder Scrolls 6 is a real game, but Bethesda has only disclosed a minimal amount of information about it since introducing it at E3 in 2018. When Bethesda announced that they were working on a new game called Starfield, we waited patiently for additional information about the project, which is currently Bethesda’s top priority.

After three years of waiting, we finally got a look at what Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls V: The Fallen has in store. Even though Skyrim is one of the most popular RPGs of all time, you can’t do everything there is to do. A decade after its release, it’s logical that fans would be eager to see more of it developed and discover a new area of Tamriel. We may expect to hear a lot about Starfield, but not much about The Elder Scrolls 6. Hopefully, Bethesda will move its attention to Elder Scrolls 6 soon and provide us with additional information about the upcoming sci-fi RPG. This will depend on the current level of production for the game.

Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date

Holding your breath is a waste of time. It’s most likely going to be in the next decade. Probably. In November 2022, we know that Starfield, which will be released before Elder Scrolls 6, will be completed. Fable 5 will be finished before TES6, which we don’t yet know the release date for, says Phil Spencer. It’s time to get down to business.

Elder Scrolls 6 Story

To put it simply, the plot of Skyrim is more complicated than any other game in the series. The fate of a struggling country that is only nominally part of the Empire is decided by your actions in the game’s civil war. Hopefully, The Elder Scrolls 6 will take things to a new level in its tale. While the Elder Scrolls 6 story will be influenced by the environment and its history, it is hoped that the game’s narrative will live up to the lofty goals that were set for it at the start of development. Despite the fact that we’ll have to wait a while longer for an official release date for Elder Scrolls 6, there are still enough rumors and news to keep us entertained.

What Will Be The Location Of the Elder Scrolls 6?

Fans of the Elder scrolls have taken to dissecting any and all Elder scroll-related material in search of clues, beginning with the original teaser video released in 2018. According to Todd Howard, “hints at where it’s set” can be found in the teaser. That’s what the people in the neighborhood have done with it. TES6’s site has already been determined, and Todd Howard himself has verified this. We’ve tried to figure out The Elder Scrolls 6’s setting on our own.

Iconic Rock

It’s a logical assumption, and it’s the most prevalent one right now. Rocks may be seen in the original teaser clip, which suggests a high altitude. The High Rock is there. That’s not nearly enough, however. High Rock has already been covered in the early games, but the landscape of TES changes frequently. Similarly, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim have all been ravaged.

The Starfield trailer from E3 2021 includes a suspected Elder Scrolls teaser, further fueling the fire of rumor. In the cabin of a spaceship, a very little scratch appears eerily like a landmass sketch It also resembles Tamriel’s Illiac Bay, which is located between High Rock and Hammerfell. Despite the fact that it is a seemingly little element, the shape it takes on is distinctive. Bethesda may have already hinted at Hammerfell as a possible locale for Fallout 4. Maybe things are starting to fall into place.?

Hammerfell

A New Year’s message from Bethesda near the end of 2020 suggests that Hammerfell could be a new location. No one knows for sure if the image provided is an Elder Scrolls 6 clue, but the message about “mapping the future” really does seem to be. Most notably, fans have speculated that a clue lies beneath the term “Hammerfell” in the undrawn area west of Skyrim, where a torch was set. The Alik’r Desert in Hammerfell, which is home to the Redguard tribe, could match the stony, dry setting depicted in the original teaser.

Elder Scrolls 6 Races

If The Elder Scrolls 6 goes in a new direction, we might witness some new races with their own unique histories and gameplay styles. Skyrim, on the other hand, didn’t have any new races, thus it’s less probable that we’ll see new species or races in The Elder Scrolls 6. Although they appear in The Elder Scrolls Online, the Sea Elves may return in a numbered main entry to the series.

When Will We See More Of The Elder Scrolls 6?

After Bethesda’s next big game, Starfield, which comes out in November 2022, this won’t be available for years. The Elder Scrolls 6 certainly won’t begin full development until that project is completed, which places the game’s release date somewhere in the middle of the 2020s.

After Oblivion, Fallout 4, and Skyrim, Bethesda is likely preparing TES6 for a similar series of near-finished demos and relatively short delays leading up to its release. In 2016, Hines told us that the next Elder scrolls will not be teased along, both as a measure of quality and as a way for the production team to focus on crafting the game instead of diverting resources to vertical slice demos. That means that the last time we receive a glimpse of The Elder Scrolls 6 might be when the majority of the game is built.

In an interview with FZ.se, Bethesda’s VP of marketing Pete Hines explained why The Elder Scrolls 6 was unveiled at E3 when we already know that Starfield is coming first. “So, after talking with him and other members of my team, I proposed that we create a roadmap for the studio that describes what we’re up to: “Yes, we’re producing Starfield, and yes, we’re making Elder Scrolls 6, but we have these other two games to develop and make first.” So, we did. It’s purely for the purpose of letting everyone know where we are and where we’re going in the near future.”
