A Former Employee Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Reportedly Attempted To Sell BTS Member Jungkook’s Hat. Jungkook of BTS is widely regarded as one of the best performers in the Kpop industry.
Not only are Kpop fans eagerly anticipating his solo releases, but they also follow his every other public appearance. Everything he owns, from his clothes to his tools, is considered valuable by the ARMY.

Shockingly, a former employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tried to sell BTS member Jungkook’s headgear online on October 17. On November 7 he pled guilty to the accusations, and the police validated his confession.
Approximately $7,100 was the asking price for Jungkook‘s hat that the former Ministry of Foreign Affairs worker tried to sell it for.
According to reports, he posted a picture of the hat for sale on the online flea market Bungae Jangteo and said that the singer had left the hat in the waiting area when the Kpop band went to the Passport Division to get their passports.

Because no one came forward to claim the hat for six months after it was reported as lost, he added, they now legally possess it. The inquiry into the former employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been concluded, and the Seocho Police Station in Seoul has revealed that no report of a lost hat by Jungkook has been filed.
The police reportedly told the Korean press, “We filed charges against A for theft in connection with the missing property. After extensive inquiry, A has admitted to all charges. We’re investigating further to see if there’s a legal basis for charging him with occupational embezzlement instead.”
As soon as the pictures of the hat were posted online, the person realized they were going to spark a firestorm and took them down. Similarly, he surrendered to authorities in Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province.
The person who tried to sell the hat online deleted the post & turned himself in to the police on October 19th KST after the post became controversial and received much criticism. #bts #BTSARMY#JUNGKOOK pic.twitter.com/e5RkEuNkgp

According to HYBE Entertainment, BTS’ management team, Jungkook indeed misplaced his hat in the Foreign Ministry’s passport office waiting area. A misappropriation of lost property charge was initially filed against the person who tried to resell Jungkook’s headgear.
Right now, authorities are considering what charges to file. There has been no final decision made on whether or not the performer will receive the hat back.
