‘Feel Good,’ a British comedy-drama series created by Mae Martin and Joe Hampson, centres around Mae and George’s tumultuous relationship. Mae is a Canadian comic who begins a relationship with George, an English woman who has never dated anyone before.
The plot then shifts to the characters’ pasts and the issues that arise as a result of their relationship. The show contains two seasons and a total of 12 episodes. It is distributed by Objective Fiction, a production firm.
Trouble arises, though, as George finds it difficult to tell others about their relationship. The series premiered in the United Kingdom on March 18, 2020, followed by an international release on March 19, 2020, on Netflix.
The series’ genuine and clever comedy got a lot of praise. Critics and spectators alike have praised the film’s unique way of highlighting addiction and sexuality. Because the show is partially based on Martin’s life, the plots had an authentic feel to them, which many viewers appreciated.
Despite the fact that the show concentrates on gender non-conforming people, their lives are filled with relatable human situations. You must be wondering if a third season is in the works after binge-watching the second. In such a case, what we know might be of interest to you.

Feel Good Season 3 Release Date: Renewed Or Canceled?
Season 2 of ‘Feel Good’ aired on Netflix on June 4, 2021. The second season is divided into six episodes, each lasting 26-30 minutes.
Here’s the lowdown on the third season. The second season was ordered on December 7, 2020, however, it was also stated that it would be the show’s final act. Although this may be disappointing to viewers, the good news is that the series will not be cut short because the storey of Mae and George was always intended to be wrapped up in two seasons.
“I’m incredibly happy to be able to return to the world of ‘Feel Good,’ and to see Mae and George’s love storey through to the dramatic climax we had always planned,” co-creator and starring cast member Martin said after the show’s second season was renewed. I’m incredibly invested in this tale, and I’m thrilled to be reuniting with Objective Fiction’s wonderful staff and our hilarious cast.”
After spending the majority of 2020 in seclusion, Martin was extremely grateful for the opportunity to work on the show. They’ve also been able to accomplish a long-held ambition of being a leading lady thanks to the show.
Martin and Hampson had also pitched other pilots, but none had come to fruition until this semi-autobiographical comic programme. As a result, Martin was ecstatic to be able to shape the series in the way he had envisioned.

Because Channel 4 did not renew the show, the second season is only available on Netflix. “Channel 4 didn’t pick up the second series, but I’m so relieved that Netflix did,” Charlotte Ritchie (George) stated in an interview with The Guardian. I knew Mae [Martin] and Joe [Hampson] had plotted out a two-series arc and had a good sense of how it would conclude.
It would have been a pity to shorten it. It feels different to me than the first season. Everything has progressed, and our personalities have matured.” Ritchie and Martin were asked about the potential of a third season in a recent interview with BT TV. “It’s a wonderful daydream,” Martin added, while Ritchie seemed ecstatic at the prospect.
But, in truth, I don’t think I’d want to mess with what we’ve accomplished. It inspires me to write a new television drama and cast Charlotte Ritchie in it.” As a result of all of these issues, a third season of ‘Feel Good’ is unlikely to be produced.
The show’s non-binary love storey, according to Ritchie, has been a very healing experience. She mentioned that she and Martin had received a lot of positive responses from viewers. According to the English actress, the show strikes a global chord since it illuminates all types of connections that people are unable to share with the rest of the world for various reasons.
If you’ve been waiting for more Martin stuff, you’re in luck! Martin and the production company Objective Fiction have announced that Netflix will be working on a new show with them. Martin hinted in March 2020 that they’d like to write a science fiction series based on Mars.
Of course, if it ever works out, Lisa Kudrow (who plays Linda) would want to be a part of the mystery. Those who can’t get enough of ‘Feel Good’ can wait for the bloopers from both seasons in the meantime. Martin told BT TV in late May 2021 that they were just as enthusiastic to unveil the video snippets as they were for the show.

The Plot Of Feel Good Season 2
Mae fell down a dark and tragic path in the first series of Feel Good, relapsing in her cocaine addiction and losing her sponsor, Maggie, after having a meaningless affair with her daughter.
“Is there anything you need to tell me?” she asks her girlfriend George as they lie in bed together in the closing scene.
Season two will follow Mae as she tries to get her life back on track, regardless of whether she comes clean or tries to hide her wrongdoings.
The official logline is as follows: “Mae and George’s tangled love storey continues as Mae grapples with the demons of her past and George attempts to recreate her present. Will they be able to grow together or will they be able to grow apart?”
On the plus side, Mae’s comedy career appears to be taking off when a video of her act went viral online and crowds began to gather to watch her perform.
