Season 2 of ‘Squid Game’ will have six episodes, with Season 3 expected to feature around six to seven episodes as well. This approach is similar to Netflix’s ‘The Glory,’ which successfully split its release into two parts with a brief three-month gap. Fans can expect a short wait between Seasons 2 and 3 of ‘Squid Game.’
There are plenty of spoilers and rumors swirling about Season 2. Some say that Young Hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su (the large animatronic doll from Season 1), will make an appearance. Others hint at even more intense and hardcore games than before. Whether these are just rumors or if the male version of the murderous doll will really show up has fans buzzing with excitement.
Season 2 is directed, written, and produced by Hwang Dong Hyuk, who made history as the first Asian to win the Directing Award at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards. Lee Jung Jae, who also became the first Asian to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, will be returning.
