Since its release in 2019, Enen no Shouboutai, or Fire Force, has received worldwide notice for its high quality. Manga adaptations of the series are just as popular as their anime counterparts, despite the latter being better known.
Atsushi Kubo’s manga series has sold more than 7 million copies worldwide since it was first published in 1986. Animated by David Productions, the second season of the anime premiered in 2019 and contributed to the soundtrack for the second season.
Additionally, we’ve worked with the studio on projects such as Sales Network. In addition to Crunchroll and ArtMotion, anime is also available on both platforms. On Holo TV, it has become a global sensation. The anime’s second season will run from July 4 to December 12, 2020.
Fans are now wondering if there will be a third season of Fire Force. Does this mean that the show has already been given a third season of orders?
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3: When will Season 3 of Fire Force be released?
We still don’t have a release date or confirmation of a third season of “Fire Force.” With its success translating into sales of the manga, there’s reason to suppose that another season of the series is in development, and that an announcement could be forthcoming.
More than 15 million copies of the “Fire Force” manga had been sold by late April, according to the official “Fire Force” Twitter. There is no doubt that the show’s popularity justifies the production of a second season.

To make matters worse, according to Atsushi Kubo, the manga will be finished soon, which could cause a delay in producing a new season of anime. In an interview with Monsters and Critics, Okubo said that he expected the manga to end around volume 30, but he admitted that this could change.
On top of that, according to Anime News Network, Okubo indicated in the manga’s 23rd volume that “Fire Force” would be his final manga. Considering that 28 volumes of the manga have been produced thus far, there may be a lag in determining when the storey will end.
However, it is more likely that the rest of the year will lead to an official announcement, and a Season 3 release date will be set for sometime in 2022.
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3 Plot
To combat the practise of burning people to death at the stake, “infernal” firefighting units were established in Tokyo in the year 198. For centuries, infernal flames were common, but succeeding generations developed methods of controlling them that preserved the human form.
Nicknamed “Shinra Kosakabi,” she joins the Special Fire Brigade Company 8 after attempting to extinguish all of the infernal situations she has come across so far. Sheera began to investigate the mysterious fire that killed her family 12 years ago when a group of infernals appeared.
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3 Cast
As of this writing, the cast of “Fire Force” Season 3 has yet to be officially announced. If the show’s previous two seasons were consistent, it’s possible we’ll see a primarily returning cast in the third season.
All that was added to the cast were a few new characters, such as Ogun Montgomery, whose voices were provided by Japanese actors Makoto Furukawa and Zeno Robinson, an American actor named Kentaro Ito, and English actor Tyler Walker (English). Shinra will almost certainly be voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara (in Japanese) and Derick Snow (in English) when the show returns (via Anime News Network).
For Season 3, the same animation studio, David Production, should return, as it did for the first two seasons. Yuki Yase was replaced as director of “Fire Force” Season 2 by Tatsuma Minamikawa. If anything different is announced, Minamikawa will certainly be back as director for season 3, along with Kazuhiro Miwa in that role and Kenichiro Suehor as composer, unless anything different is announced.
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3: Renewed Or Not ?
As of January 5, 2022, the third season of Fire Force has not been renewed. Manga publisher Kodansha or animation studio David Productions have not commented on the upcoming third season of Fire Force. In the meantime, there has been no official announcement of the show’s cancellation.
There are certain characteristics that can be used to determine if the series will be renewed for the third season. According to these criteria, the source materials’ relevancy and popularity are the most important.

When it comes to anime, manga is a popular source of inspiration. Many animes are manga-friendly, such as Fire Force Season 3. As of September 23, 2015, Atsushi Kubo’s manga series has been appearing in the weekly Shonen Magazine, published by Kodansha.
However, we’ve come to the end of this manga. Atsushi has stated that he intends to finish the Fire Force Manga series as soon as possible. Will there be enough material for the third season of “Fire Force”?
The manga has so far published 32 volumes and 298 chapters that have yet to be compiled into a volume. There are approximately 19 volumes in the second season. Therefore, we may conclude that the series has enough material to be animated for the third season of the Fire Force.
Season 3 could be the series’ final season if it is renewed for a fourth season, as the manga is now on its final arc.
