MIN’s musical journey began in her childhood, inspired by legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Destiny’s Child. Her admiration for K-pop pioneer BoA fueled her dreams of becoming a performer. She debuted as a member of the iconic girl group Miss A under JYP Entertainment in 2010, achieving immense success and garnering a global fanbase.
Reflecting on her K-pop career, MIN acknowledges that being part of Miss A was an incredible experience, though it came with challenges. “After existing within the K-pop industry for so long, I felt as though I had to exist within a certain mold,” she shares. This desire for authenticity led MIN to move to New York, where she embraced her true self.
‘PRIME TIME’ represents MIN’s journey towards self-discovery and empowerment. The album reflects her determination to create the music she has always envisioned, free from external pressures or deadlines. “It was just really natural and flowed in accordance to what I wanted to hear and create,” she explains.

To celebrate the release of ‘PRIME TIME,’ MIN will host a special event in New York on Friday, June 21st, 2024, at Mission Nightclub. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the main event running from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This event will mark the first live performance of the EP, offering fans an exclusive experience of MIN’s latest work.
