NCT Korean Boy Band
The South Korean boy band NCT debuted in January 2016 under the label SM Entertainment. The group’s 23 members are split into four different groups called NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV.
Over 24 million albums have been sold by NCT and their various sub-units, making them the most successful group ever to come out of SM Entertainment’s stable of artists in South Korea. On April 9, 2016, they released the digital double single “The 7th Sense” and “Without You” as their debut as the rotating sub-unit NCT U.
Sub-unit NCT Dream, comprised of then-teenagers, released their digital single “Chewing Gum” on August 24, 2016, while Seoul-based sub-unit NCT 127 released their namesake extended play on July 7, 2016.
