What to Expect From Gen V Episode 5?
The fifth episode of Gen V will likely deal with the aftermath of Sam’s rampage and the confrontation between Tek-Knight and the dean. Sam and Emma may try to find allies or evidence to expose the truth about Godolkin University and its sinister agenda.
Marie and Jordan may face some challenges in their relationship, as they are both involved in the mystery of Jake’s death. Tek-Knight may not give up so easily and will continue to dig deeper into the secrets of the school. The dean may try to cover up her tracks and eliminate any threats to her power.
The official synopsis for Gen V episode 5 reads:
“Marie struggles with her newfound fame as she tries to balance her relationship with Jordan and her friendship with Andre. Emma and Sam discover a shocking clue about Godolkin University’s history that could change everything. Tek-Knight makes a surprising move that puts him at odds with the dean.”

Gen V Cast
The majority of the actors in Gen V’s large ensemble portray the numerous supers enrolled at Godolkin University. Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), who plays Maya, a superhero with the power to control blood, commands Gen V.
She attends the same school as size-changing Emma (Lizze Broadway of The Rookie fame) and metal-bending Andre Anderson, both of whom are portrayed by fellow Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina cast member Chance Perdomo.
Additionally, there is the gender-fluid superhero Jordan Li played by both Derek Luh and London Thor, as well as the compassionate Cate Dunlap played by Maddie Phillips.
Patrick Schwarzenegger, however, has been one of the cast members of Generation V who has generated the most discussion because of the online and in-universe rumours that his super-strong character Golden Boy is Homelander replacement material (due to a viral promo).
Numerous The Boys characters will appear in Gen V, and it has been hinted that they may play roles beyond simple cameos. Both the mysterious head-popping politician Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) and Ashley Barette (Colby Minifie) are in Gen V and play important roles in The Boys spinoff’s plot based on their appearance in the trailers.
Perhaps most interestingly, Jensen Ackles is allegedly resuming his role as Soldier Boy. Jessie T. Usher is also expected to return as A-Train. It’s unclear how this would function, but it might appear in flashback scenes of incidents that occurred before The Boys season 3 ended.
Gen V will include a sizable ensemble cast, even outside of its primary group of characters, much like The Boys did. At this time, the whole confirmed cast for Gen V is known to consist of:
- Jazz Sinclair as Marie Moreau
- Patrick Schwarzenegger as Luke Riordan, A.K.A. Golden Boy
- Chance Perdomo as Andre Anderson
- Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer
- Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap
- Derek Luh and Tondon Thor as Jordan Li
- Asa Germann as Sam
- Shelly Conn as Indira Shetty
- Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity
- Marco Pigossi as Doctor Edison Cardosa
- Jason Ritter in an unknown role
- Alexander Calvert in an unknown role
- Clancy Brown as Richard Brinkhoff
- Jessie T. Usher as Reggie Franklin, A.K.A A-Train
- Claudia Doumit as Victoria Neuman
- Colby Minife as Ashley Barrett
- P.J. Byrne as Adam Bourke
- Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy
Gen V Trailer
The first Gen V trailer is a pleasant return to the world of supers with a college twist while fans wait for details on The Boy’s spinoff. The first-year student class at Godolkin University is the focus of the Gen V trailer’s narrative.
The young superhuman students range from those who want to break new ground to those who appear doomed to follow Homelander’s vicious path of destruction and death. The Gen V teaser features plenty of blood and explicit humour that maintains the twisted perspective on superheroes, as fans of The Boys can expect.
