South Korean actor Gong Myung is a member of 5urprise. He is well-known for his parts in the critically acclaimed film Extreme Job (2017) and the commercially successful television series The Bride of Habaek (2017), Revolutionary Love (2017), Be Melodramatic (2019), and Lovers of the Red Sky (2021). He is working on his upcoming drama along with actress Kim Min-Ha. Kim Min-Ha became known around the world for her performance as Sunja, a young adult, in the Apple TV+ sitcom Pachinko.
Gong Myung And Kim Min Ha New Drama
The upcoming TVING fantasy romance drama will star Gong Myung and Kim Min Ha. TVING’s next drama, “A Week Before I Die” (literal title), starred Gong Myung and Kim Min Ha as of November 8.
Based on a novel, “A Week Before I Die” is a fantasy romantic drama that follows Hee Wan (Kim Min Ha), a 24-year-old who has completely shut herself off from society and has lost all motivation to live. When she least expects it, her childhood sweetheart Ram Woo (Gong Myung) appears before her as the grim reaper. A week before Hee Wan’s untimely death, the two high school sweethearts reunite and begin to search for deeper meanings in life and love as they confront a secret neither of them knew about back in their teenage years.

Gong Myung takes on the role of Kim Ram Woo, a grim reaper who appears in front of Hee Wan six years after his death. In Hee Wan’s last week of life, Ram Woo mixes up her mundane routine by completing an amazing bucket list with her.
Kim Min Ha plays the role of Jung Hee Wan, a young woman who squanders her life until she is condemned to die. Hee Wan, played by Kim Min Ha, alternates between a naughty adolescent and a depressed young adult, or hikikomori (a person who withdraws from society due to depression or anxiety).

Gong Myung Intense Role in Drama
In April of 2020, Gong’s contract with his old management company expired, and he signed with Saram Entertainment as his new representative.
Gong appeared in the SBS 2021 historical fantasy drama Lovers of the Red Sky. He portrayed Grand Prince Yangmyeong, a prince known for his artistic prowess in the fields of painting, calligraphy, and poetry during his downtime. Later that year, he joined the cast of House on Wheels, a tvN travel variety show, for its third season.
In the 2022 war drama Hansan: Rising Dragon, directed by Kim Han-min, Gong played the role of commander Yi Eokgi.
