Hinamatsuri Season 2: Release Date, All You Need To Know!

Hinamatsuri is one of the few anime series that manages to combine genres that we previously thought were incompatible, such as science fiction, humor, slice-of-life, and supernatural.

And, ironically, Hinamatsuri has won the hearts of a large number of fans. The anime series Hinamatsuri is based on Masao Ohtake’s Manga of the same name, which he wrote and drew.

From June 15, 2010, to July 15, 2020, it was serialized in Kadokawa’s magazine Harta (formerly known as Fellows!) and contained 19 tanks on volumes.

Because the manga series has been licensed in English by One Peace Books, fans outside of Japan can already enjoy it. Feel, the studio behind Oregairu, Kiss x Sis, and Tsuki ga Kirei produce the anime adaptation.

Feel is undoubtedly one of the most well-known brands in the anime world, having successfully produced several well-known titles such as Oregairu, Kiss x Sis, and Tsuki ga Kirei.

In addition, one of their most recent ventures is the anime series Remake our Life, the second season of which has been eagerly awaited by many of its fans. With that stated, the anime series Himatsuri has undeniably incorporated the charm of Feel.

When Is Hinamatsuri Season 2 Going To Be Released?

Hinamatsuri’s first season premiered on April 6, 2018, and lasted for 12 episodes before ending on June 22, 2018. Following the first season’s conclusion, many fans are clamoring for an OVA episode or a second season to see the story continue.

So, when will Hinamatsuri Season 2 be available? Neither the studio nor the author has said anything about Hinamatsuri Season 2’s release date. Stay tuned as we keep you up to date on the newest news from the anime series Hinamatsuri.

Is Hinamatsuri Season 2 Possible?

We may have Hinamatsuri, even though it has not been confirmed, although the possibilities are minimal.

According to the source material, the first season covers the first 48 chapters of the manga series, albeit many critical chapters that affect the overall tale were left out. With 117 chapters completed, it is safe to assume that there will be more than enough source material for a season renewal.

Also, the anime series Hinamatsuri was highly appreciated by many viewers, as evidenced by its humorous 8.18 rating on MyAnimeList, which garnered a lot of good feedback from critics. Hinamatsuri may obtain a second season based on the source content and the number of fans that support it.

However, the anime series Hinamatsuri only performed well in Western countries and did not perform well in Japan, although Japanese anime viewers are their target market.

Given that the manga series has already ended, he doesn’t see a compelling reason to continue the anime series, mainly since most anime adaptations are meant to help sell the underlying material.

Hinamatsuri Season 2 Plot

The story revolves around Hina, a young woman with psychokinetic abilities, and Yoshifumi Nitta, a mid-level Yazuka of the Ashikaga-Gumi Gang. Nitta’s life takes an unexpected turn when this female, Hina, falls on his head out of nowhere.

Nitta is her name, and she claims to be from the future. She says that she was sent to stop him from dying in the future. Hina is a deity brought to Earth by humans when it was still inhabited.

She never ages and has incredible influence over the weather, which she uses to her advantage on the gods’ island nation, where all of her bouts occur.

Hina has no control over how her abilities work, and they have been known to cause havoc occasionally. Nitta feels tempted to assassinate his gang boss when his gangmates accuse him of proving his commitment to the Ashikaga-Gumi.

When Hina uses her skills to assist Nitta in destroying the enemy, they realize how much they need each other.

The scenario worsens as two more females from the future arrive to rescue Hina. Season 2 will focus on what happens next in Nitta and Hina’s relationship.

Three years have elapsed since the narrator was twenty-five at the end of the story. So, it’d be amazing to see them again with some new twists.

Hina may meet Hitoshi, the son of another Yazuka member, which could lead to a romantic relationship.Hinamatsuri Season 2

Hinamatsuri Season 2 Cast

At this time, there are no plans for a second season, and however, we know who will repeat their roles as their respective personas.

Hana Mochizuki plays Goro, Itsuki Nakao plays Ren, Ryohei Kimoto plays Kin, Shunya Narushima plays Kaede, Yuriko Fuchikami plays Rinna, and Junichi Suwabe plays Dr. Taguchi.

Do we have enough funds for the second season?

Between 2010 and 2020, the anime series aired six seasons and 59 episodes. Only the first nine volumes of Manga and the following ten volumes, including the most recent 18th and 19th, have been covered by creators in the previous decade.

So, we may keep our expectations up for a second season because there is enough source material. Hinamatsuri’s producer, Studio Deen, is almost guaranteed to make a sequel.

No such claim is made, even though they make no such claim. We may still anticipate them to assemble the remaining Masao volumes and provide the fans with what they want.

Final Thoughts

Season 1 ended in June 2018, bringing the series to a close. There is no official word on whether Dragon’s Prophet 2 will be renewed for a second season, and fans are clamoring for a second season after the massive success of the first.

Several petitions have urged the release of season 2, with over 1,000 signatories. As a result, we know that the creators are considering making a second season.

On the other hand, predicting a date is out of our hands. It looks like it will be published in 2022 or 2023, but a tiny birdie tells us that it is already on its way.
