American football coach Mark Allan Richt is a retired player who has also worked as a television analyst. He spent fifteen years as the head football coach at the University of Georgia and three years at his alma school, the University of Miami. Two SEC championships, five SEC division titles, and one Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) division title were won by his teams.
In addition to winning the national 2017 Walter Camp Coach of the Year Award, he was the 2017 ACC Coach of the Year and the 2002 and 2005 SEC Coach of the Year. As a member of the 2023 class, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on January 10, 2023.
